Wilder is more brave but Joshua would probably lead on the cards until the moment Wilder catches him, stuns him and discourages him, which leads to a knockout...

AJ steamrolls Wilder tbh. He's got one of the cleanest uppercuts I've seen, and that'd sleep Wilder on the back foot.

If this has happened during the timeline it should have happened then I would make Wilder the favourite.

I think AJs lack of durability and punch resistance would ultimately cost him here. Wilder would definitely land on him and I think it would scramble his brain

I would have to go with Wilder.

The thing about Wilder is I don't think he's damaged mentally like AJ. He's not afraid of getting knocked out. Now you could say that plays into AJ's hand but something tells me if they fought, AJ would be playing keep away the entire fight. Wilder is maybe a little better of a boxer than people give him credit for. I know it was only Stiverne, who sucks but he did control him with his jab in the 1st fight. And he also showed some ring IQ in the first couple of rounds against Fury in the 3rd fight, too bad he couldn't stick to it for the entire fight.

I don't think AJ would be front-foot heavy like Fury and come searching for Wilder, he would probably fight him moving away like Ruiz II or the Pulev fight. AJ can turn his lights out but my feeling is AJ either goes in to survive and the fight is ugly or Wilder hits with something powerful and AJ is either out or stays down

    Wilder knocks AJ out

I don't see AJ avoiding the right hand and it WILL land.... and when it does it takes him out

AJ has become gun shy along with this robotic boxer act and this would see him looking up at the stars against Wilder

Aj has better fundamentals and will likely land a big punch sooner and then take Wilder out.

There was never an aura of invincibility at all. He was not as over rated as you think. He'd been hurt and knocked down before.

Joshua was mainly popular because his fights were rarely boring and almost always ended in a brutal KO.

Whether he's winning or losing, it's seldom boring. That's why.

It's the reason Wilder is so popular, because he's rarely ever in a boring fight.

    Same with Chisora.

And Wilder can't box well enough to avoid... practically anything coming from Joshua. So do the maths, who gets put to sleep first?

Who cares? Since when did Fury become a massive puncher?

Let's see him take a nuclear right hand from Wlad and get up. Joshua did.

AJ would of won. Far more complete fighter, much better on the inside, can box on the back foot (unlike Wilder), better defensive (Wilder is wide open to hit), much better combination puncher, faster puncher, better footwork, better chin and better jab.

AJ has beaten half a dozen opponents with better records than Wilder.

There is a reason Wilders team turned down so many career high offers to fight AJ to fight lesser opposition. Wilder team didn't think Wilder stood a chance.

Always the same boring ass flawed arguments from the Wilder supporters as well. It's like those peabrains can't fathom that Joshua isn't going to just stand there waiting for Wilder to land on him, or that Wilder has a McCall level chin to absorb unlimited amounts of punishment the whole fight.

Speed kills and Joshua does not like speed of hand and Wilder's 1-2 is rapid and he only needs 1 to end the fight.

Despite being hurt by lesser fighters he's only been stopped by Fury, where AJ has been stopped by a relative non puncher in Ruiz.

I've always though Joshua would be able to back Wilder up and then unload big combinations and score the KO but the guy that fought Usyk trying to range find with the jab and being very conservative with his output getsKO'd by Wilder... it's a pick em fight at the moment.

Joshua has better skills, better accuracy and a better punch arsenal - but poor stamina and shaky chin and Joshua can be hit and he can be a stiff in there especially when he comes in real muscle bound as he has in some fights.

Wilder has bigger power, he's unorthodox and at times wild, but has a faster jab and right hand, better stamina (as a rule) a recovers well when hurt.

It would still be a fun fight.

And WIlder can to avoid AJ's? My money is on AJ - He can go out there and finish off Wilder in 2 rounds

Wilder, I no longer think Joshua can fight the fight that he needs to, to beat Wilder. He'd win rounds until it became a shootout and then he'd get clipped and die. I think Wilder can take more punishment than Joshua and that would be the deciding factor

    Wilder's defense is terrible.
