Canelo has not been the same since fighting GGG

GGG has not been the same since fighting Canelo

Both have been visibly hurt in recent fights

GGG is slower due to age, Canelo might have been slower recently due to moving up, or he might have peaked too, he's had a lot of fights

This fight is primed for a KO. These guys aren't brushing off the bombs they walked through in the other 2 fights.

KO 6-8 I slightly favour GGG

This is something I don't see people discuss much. Canelo is less dynamic than he was towards his 160 days. Could be due to added muscle, but he's more plodding and his combinations aren't as free-flowing, creative, and crisp. He has more of a bludgeoning, bulldozing, power-oriented style now, which has been brutally effective against the 168 crop. But he's definitely peaked and on the back nine of his prime. I did a side-by-side with the Saunders and Plant fights comparing it to his athleticism against Chavez Jr and the GGG fights and he's clearly a step slower athletically. And just having taken punches from a prime 175 pounder and a quick turnaround on top of what has been a busy schedule the past few years isn't ideal either.

I favor Canelo, especially if he invests heavily in a body attack early, but I think he's going to take some real punishment in doing so. With 60+ fights, I don't think it'll be long before more people confidently say he's on the decline.

Canelo thinks he won, so he's fine.

I hope so, but he showed Blunt force trauma vs Martirosyan before the 2nd fight also. That being said, Canelo hasn't fought anybody with Golovkins power since he fought Golovkin last.

I wonder if Canelo can lose his punch resistance from going up and down in weight. RJJ's jaw became pure glass after moving down after Ruiz fight.

Would and I mean really FKN love for GGG to KO Canelo. Guess what—NO WAY.

Canelo about to pump in some taco meat with extra sus 250, Master Tron and a drop of HGH and look to kill his next opponent after suffering a loss.

I had no clue GGG was about to fight Usyk three times in a row. When did they announce that?
