He will never prove he is the better fighter because GGG is old now, but if GGG beats Canelo at 40 then GGG will clearly be the better fighter. I'm not talking about the Canelo Cartel bogus scorecards. Just the consensus scoring, because outside of a KO, it is nearly impossible to get a decision, any honest fan can admit this.
Look I agree from my perspective. however as I've outlined in previous posts there's an expectantly from Canelo because he's got those results in the past as well as being surrounded by yes men. So in his little bubble he's won all these fights. We are looking from the outside so our perspective is very different.
His mother is bad too. She was yelling that Canelo was robbed after the first GGG fight. The fruit don't fall too far from the tree.
22 defenses 20 by KO, and 2 census wins over Canelo ain't bad. At 40 he's going put Canelo through Hell again, for a 3rd time. Hopefully 168lb GGG will put Canelo on his a#$ a couple of times before his notoriously crooked judges turn in their corrupt score cards. You like those judges don't you?
Hasnt Canelo publicly said he will be targeting Bivol next? if so... rebound opponents after a loss are commonplace in boxing. Canelo just got done getting... according to many on this forum... "DomInaTed1!!" against Bivol. If that's the case, surely there are worse rebound opponents than a faded Golovkin. I'd wager most of people's favorite fighters have fought worse opponents coming off dominating losses than today's Golovkin. Personally though I'm obviously not a fan of this choice. But it makes complete sense and is the smartest choice of opponent if he is going to go at Bivol again after this.
You're right Kirk. Canelo has spoiled us by daring to be great, going on big challenge after another(besides Yildrim).
Call it whatever you want, he let Golovkin age 4 years everybody knows this, but there's a good chance this will backfire. I look forward to seeing GGG hurt Canelo.
When he whips Canelo a third time make sure you call Canelo a bum. Don't shamelessly hide behind crook judges like you idol does. If the judges would have said Canelo beat Bivol you would have agreed with it, just like your hero does.
This third fight is nothing but another free donation to your farce hero who's biggest win to date is a blown up Welterweight.
