My point is most of them would have struggled to crack the P4P top 10 when Floyd beat them, I may be being a little harsh saying that, but they were rated as high as Bud is when Floyd beat them.

Why do you guys rank Cotto so heavily? He lost every big fight so how can you be sure he beats any of the fighters listed?

Thread makes my head hurt. What exactly has Ennis, Davis , Stevenson done that you are calling them great?

Floyd lost to nobody and beat all comers. Only idiots think he lost to Maidana, Castillo and Oscar. Winning a few rounds does not mean you have won the fight because Floyd lost very few rounds his whole career. Canelo was at his peak 23 years old with 40 professional fights and undefeated unified world champion when Floyd outclassed him. The common theme in your post is let’s find a way to discredit Floyd, since we could not defeat him in the ring. Mentally weak arguments.

The fact Floyd boxed so many of the names during his time and the guys today struggle to face each other surely tells you all you need to know. If you don't take risks and test yourself, you'll never know how great you really can be.

The more years pass the better the perspective. Right now it seems like none of those current guys are living up to the standard. Ok. False it is then. For now. They're not done yet though. Ask again in 5 or 10 years.

You think Marquez jumping two weight-classes and 23 yr old Canelo at 152 beats Crawford and Spence? Cotto looked decent at 154 against shot Mayorga, shot Margarito and Yuri Foreman, but I think like vs Trout, Cotto probably loses to the current versions of Crawford and Spence. Too good and too fresh comparitively.

I would also have to think Mayweather would have a much harder time with Crawford and Spence as they are right now than he did with semi-retired Oscar and the relatively smaller Pacquiao who adjusted his style after getting KO’d.

This post only consists of a bunch of opinions. The way I see it is that there hasn't been a fighter yet that has displayed the all around skills and ring IQ of Floyd Mayweather.
