It’s a good dvision tho. A lot of 50/50 fights. Wouldn’t be surprised if a youngin like Rayo comes out on top and is the king of the division a couple years from now.
Hard to call a guy who goes to everyone else’s house and beats them a fringe contender. What makes Haney so great? Tank Davis? Teo? Ryan Garcia? Why were they all labeled as the 4 kings? None of them have proven squat except for Teo. And even then, it was a one time thing. Whose house did they go to and beat? Nobody. I will give Haney credit for traveling but in all reality, big deal. Tons of non American fighters do it every week and they don’t get praised for it. If Kambosos beats Haney what’s the next excuse?
The Lopez that turned up that night, especially with the same game plan would have been defeated by at least a dozen other lightweights in that division. If Haney puts an absolute clinic on against Kamobosos, does that mean he'd shoots to p4p no 1 being Kambosos beat Lopez who beat Lomachenko?
