Pbf beats the **** outta khan. He's too chinny and too flawed to beat pbf. People want to talk about speed sound like casuals when pbf is actually the faster, quicker fighter of the two. Khan is a chinny frontrunner who can't adjust that's not the combo that beats pbf. But since they didn't fight wishful thinking haters think a boxer puncher like khan who pbf owns and is a stylistic nightmare for beats a master boxer in pbf.
I don't know man there's a reason May fought Maidana instead. kahn was a bigger draw and had at least half of the uk behind him
Maidana was the more deserving fighter he had just beat broner in a big win. Khan was coming off going life and death with julio Diaz. Khan is not good enough to beat pbf he's too flawed and his style doesn't trouble pbf. Khan looks to outbox people he's not going to outbox a superior outboxer.
LOL Haven't you learned?!?! Any half way decent fighter in or around FM during that time, either was ducked by FM or would have beaten FM.
Khan stepped in with the jab bringing his head closer to his opponent leaving him wide open to counters.
Yep. Floyd is so superior to Khan in almost every way, I see a mid-late rounds TKO. I can see Khan bothering Floyd a bit in the first few rounds ala Whitaker-Hurtado, though.
Khan's speed was the only thing he had going on for him. As soon as he slowed down, he was basic, predictable, and easy to counter.
Khan was quick enough to be an all-time great but he had awful fundamentals, Floyd was also a great athlete.
If he had no power, fighters like Cotto, Pacquiao, De La Hoya, Castillo x2, Corrales (Rest in Peace), Alvarez, Mosley, Maidana x2, Marquez, Corley, Chavez, Hernandez...etc would've walked right through him and blew him away. Defense alone won't keep swarming fighters off. You need punches that would make them think twice before swarming away. No, he didn't have one punch KO power, but he wasn't powerless either.
Floyd had no power: I said TKO and that was being kind, it could easily be KO. Floyd couldn't throw fast combos the way Khan did: If Floyd threw fast combos the way Khan did, he might've gotten KO'd a lot, too
He dipped below their waists and Cotto wa on the verge of beating Floyd then tyhrew away the final rounds, JMM was too small to walk Floyd down.
