You know who I mean. Benn, Eubank, Watson and Graham? But to be serious, where does Minter fit in there?
Great question think he would be competitive in all of them but here is my picks Benn beats him by stoppage Eubank think Alan out works him to win a points decision Watson ditto Eubank Graham too slick for Minter wins unanimous decision Would be interested on your take on this
Minter beats Graham loses to Eubank. I’m not sure who I would pick against Watson or Benn but wouldn’t bet on either outcome….lean towards minter 3-1
perhaps? I think Minter is all wrong for Graham…you know kind of why we have these threads…divergent opinions and all. But then again I am a bigger Minter appreciator than most, probably why I predict him 3-1 Eubank would be his toughest test and his worst shot….again divergent opinions
He could win against any one of them, but i do not see him being able to put a decisive beatdown on any of the four, but likewise i do not believe any of the four being able to do the same to him. Regrettably Minter being prone to cuts could play a big part in any outcome.
Peak Minter, with Bobby Neill in the corner, stopping him losing his head, easily beats Benn. He could outbox Eubank all night, Chris was tough but that's all. Watson ? That's the one. Organised, fearless and patient. All good fights. "Boom Boom" wasn't everybody's cup of tea, certainly not mine, but at his best, he was an excellent operator and a real tough guy.
Sorry Noel, only just got to see replies. Minter v Benn An extremely dangerous one for Al, I see him getting hurt, maybe cut very early and stopped. I actually think he never gets a chance to get settled. Eubank. A close fight I see this as. Decision that divides the crowd. Split decision win for Eubank with most thinking Alan. Watson at his best gets a decision. Actually this could be a close one too Now Graham. I see Alan getting the win, he hurts Bomber and has throws him off his game. He gets a decision over him.
a tough rangy box/fighter as I remember him, I think he'd take it to the lot of them, Benn on form connects too often and wins I'd say, Eubank between posturing and lunge countering is a hard fight, though I think Minter would get fed up with the B.S and go at him hard, he, Minter could & should win, Watson too good, points win. Graham the pawing m onkey, who is given an all too often pass, he got 3 tries and was beat each time, I'm not a fan and I think like Eubank, it would be awkward, but Minter could win, maybe easier than some think. Again, I don't fully know, just speculation, but hopefully an accurate assessment of them all.
