    it's f***ing freezing in Melbourne today. I've been to the stadium in winter before - it was colder in the stadium than outside in the rain. Strong wind comes straight from Antarctica in the middle of winter, a long way from the equator.

    When Kambosos was Haney's age he was fighting international domestic level guys like Jose Ferero who was in the middle of an end of career 1-7 slide.

    I've been critical of Haney because of how he got his belt however he's 23 and fighting the lineal unified champ on the other side of the world. I'm really impressed and didn't see this coming a couple years ago.

    His father has a thirty year old felony, I assume the others are similar. It's really easy to get some bad looking drug crimes in the US and Australia is very picky.

    Apparently the elder Haney wasn't aware of Australian policy until the last minute.

    It could happen. Haney couldn't even wobble shot Linares and shot Gamboa despite being way bigger and heavier than both, hitting them with everything bar the kitchen sink for 12 rounds, and both being very chinny and having been stopped in all their 9 or 1o other losses, including getting KO'd by 126 pounder Loma. And Teofimo hits way harder than Haney and would definitely spark him out cold if tiny little 126 featherfist Jojo was rocking Haney. But boxing is a funny business and stranger things have happened.
