How far can he go? Is he another Josh Kelly (good looking, flashy style) or is he the real deal? Comes across very likeable and being local to me I’ve heard many good things about his dad as a trainer.
I think he is going to go far and have a good career Definitely better fundamentally and more skilled than Josh Kelly
He's got good basic fundamentals that he's building off. Seems to be getting better each fight imo and with a good local support I reckon he could go all the way. His dad is pretty knowledgeable too, I know he can be irritating sometimes When he's shouting from the corner but he does no his stuff
Looks good so far but so did Big Dave Price and Joshua until they met opponents that could take a punch and land their own. Developing well and hope he continues to do well.
Yeah his dad knows his stuff. Hopefully he keeps him on the traditional route. Sheffield has a gap for a new boxing star too with Brook retiring. Wednesday fan too and I can’t ever recall a boxer from Sheffield who supported Wednesday so no doubt you’ll get a lot of their fans following him.
You mean the Joshua that is a two time heavyweight champion of the world? Seems you always have a high barrier to entry. Kind of guy that goes out to buy his mates a round with a fiver and expects change
Two time - winning both against Deluxe Puddings Charles Martin and Rice Pudding Ruiz Jnr Joshua is a non elite World Champion winning titles against C listers and firmly on the B list with Bellew. The only decent test he has faced in the ring under the age of 40 was Usyk and boy did he come up short. Similar to a DAZN UK subscription, a complete con.
Never got the ‘2 time’ bit like it’s some form of achievement. The reason he’s 2 time is because he lost in the first place. Surely better to be 1 time... Same with Warrington getting spannered off an unknown Mexican then giving it the ‘2 time’ crap because he had to win it back off an old fella he beat 5 years before.
Anthony Crolla, Stu Hall, Ebanie Bridges, Natasha Jonas, Andy Ruiz, Charles Martin, Stiverne, Herbie Hide, Bellew, Tony Dosh PPV - all World Champions but not an elite bone amongst the lot of them
Boxing comedy losing to the fattest pudding seen in a ring. Will be the subject of much laughter 100 years from now.
Joshua and Bellew taking World Titles from C list fighters really devalues the great performances from some of our fighters such as Josh Taylor, Tyson Fury, Carl Frampton, Kell Brook, Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Joe Calzaghe, Nigel Benn who won those World Titles against genuine Champions.
Good fighter. Has suffered with hand problems so hopefully this doesn't hold him back. Saturday's fight should be his last Argentinian super-featherweight.
Clinton Woods even had the Wednesday band at his fights. Only boxed once at Sheffield Arena - there was actually less there than when Kid G fights
