Been going over in my head whether or not Inoue would beat a peak Donaire

In a way Inoue does remind me of Donaire himself when he was at his peak. Been wondering myself how a match up between these 2 in their prime would have looked like.

More I think about it a strong case could be made they'd tie up 5 a piece out of ten...but Donaire around 2012 -2013 was such a monster I'd back him over pretty much anyone

For me I thought Donaire was at his absolute best from 2007 - 2011. He was a much more dynamic fighter and was always in control, he was almost close to unbeatable during those days before jumping up.

I actually agree he boxed better at that time...as the years went on he fell in love more and more with that left hook...but he was so goddamn explosive...he was the scourge of all midgets boxing world...what year was it he absolutely demolished siderenko...poor guy lol

Yeah Donaire ended up falling in love with his power over time, especially his left hook and I think that was when his skills started to deteriorate. His fight with Sidorenko was around 2010, that still remains one of his best and most violent performance. He bloodied him up pretty horribly.

I remember feeling sorry for sidirenko...he absolutely crushed him...think if he'd fought rigondeaux around then he may have picked up the win...I think by the time they fought he genuinely thought all he had to do was land the left and it was over

Sidorenko really didn't have a chance at all against Donaire, he was severely outclassed. I actually believe Donaire could have put a much better effort against Rigo had he actually fought a much smarter fight without relying on trying to land a big punch. Rigo was supremely talented and any version of Donaire would have a problem with him.

Speaking of the Donaire-Sidorenko fight, that was actually on the undercard of Humberto Soto vs Urbano Antillon which was arguably the best fight of 2010. Highly recommend checking that out, great fight. :sisi1

    Nonito via Late TKO.
He will start where he left off the last fight. 12th round he was pounding Inoue with power shots. That'S why Nonito wants this rematch more than Inoue.

Donaire at this weight scales of with his opponent, the tougher the opponent the better he gets.

Really curious about Nietes though, its frustrating to not see him on brighter lights, that guy is so underrated.
