The Smith loss to Bivol shows what benefit a setback can be to a fighter. It's ok to lose, if you learn from the
mistakes you made. Smith has come back much better and has a good chance to win.

    Beterbiev is so underrated

He should have been in peoples list years ago.

At least after he beat coward ukrainian "nail", who is still bitter and act like a woman all the time in public.

No boxer who gets into a ring is a coward. But someone whose posts rely on ideology can be an idiot.

Great post! Guys who constantly tout cherry picking punks like Tank Davis like to point out “he ain’t been beat”. Too many fighters these days have undefeated records because they avoid real challengers and only fight no hopers. Props to Smith for always fighting tough opponents.

Ali lost fights, Hagler lost, Sugar Ray, Duran and Sweet Pea lost. I have more respect for the greats even though they lost than cherry picking house fighters who care more about easy wins than facing top fighters and improving.

He was during and after the fight. His body language and acting, his words and future decisions. all of that combined have shown that he was a coward. Like a real jealous man who don't have enough heart/courage to admit that Beterbiev was better at that night and he still hates all russian boxers just based on nationality. (He was helping Canelo for Bivol fight) in his interviews he is not acting like a man. Sad to see, but that's the reality.

Loma is an example of how to handle the loss and defeat in life and in the boxing ring.

    of what ?

You just say that based on one post ? or you have arguments to back your words ?

Yes, one post is all it took. I repeat, no one who enters a boxing ring, especially against a big bad man like Beterviev is
    a coward.

Smith's early career loss and his loss against Sullivan Barrera were due to him suffering a broken jaw. He dropped Barrera in round one and suffered the brake in the next round and even though he knew he had an another 6-8 weeks of jaw wired shut hell in store again because he'd already been through it after his first loss he bravely battled on to the final bell. That takes a massive set of plums, especially when you've already been through it before. So his only real loss where he was bettered whilst not being seriously compromised by an agonizing injury is Bivol.

Smith has a real chance here. He hits ****ing hard and Beterbiev has been down before.

That said, I think Beterbiev will rob Smith of the space he needs to throw his best punches and impose his own close range battle plan with his special short, triphammer punches. Smith is going to have to be fast and accurate to catch Artur coming in or he's going to have problems.

Beterbiev looked terrifying on the pads in that video. He should win via KO, which would be seriously impressive because Smith is as tough as nails and has never even been dropped, but Smith is the only guy in the division with a crazy engine like Beterbiev who can throw power punches all night long and although he doesn't hit quite as hard as him he hits extremely hard with that right hand of his and he can KO any man his size he hits.
