Prograis would fk Haney up too tho , & I don't agree anyway, Taylor out hustled him 7-5 .. & there's no one on Haneys resume I would pick to beat Taylor or any of his best wins.. whereas I would confidently pick the likes of prime Postol, Prograis , Ramirez etc to beat a shot Linares & Kambosos .. who btw had a couple of close calls himself .. Taylor is a whole different ballgame to a LW like Kambosos
Taylor needs to give Catterell his rematch before we even mention his name. Also, didnt he lie say he will be moving to 147 and therefore wont give the rematch?
Lomachenko showed up. Just because you're god lost doesn't mean he was off that night. His gameplan failed and Lopez troubled Loma with his size and power. Lopez won fair and square. Even if you make an asspull statement and claim Lomachenko beat Lopez, they were still on the same level Keep coping to discredit Kambosos and Haney. You're tears taste good
With the exception of Catterall who Taylor was clearly a shadow of himself against and Rougarou, Taylor has dropped everyone he's fought at the world level and his skills, punch variety, and shot selection are excellent. His temperament and feisty nature can get the better of him at times though and cause him to abandon his skills and not use his brain. Like how Teofimo did against Kambosos. But when Taylor's relaxed and uses his brain and picks his shots he's a brilliant offensive boxer. Leaving McGuigan was a real bad move but he would still beat Haney's ass who has never even fought a truly world class fighter his own size yet. He will not have a huge weight and reach advantage over Taylor and Taylor has fought a lot of big punchers his own size in Rougarou, JCR, Baranchyk, Khongsong and Davies Gamboa was 39 y/o way smaller and lighter and shot beyond belief and he was giving away 6'' in reach, hadn't fought in just under a year and had only stopped 2 of his previous 12 Linares was shot, hadn't fought in 15 months, is a lot naturally smaller and lighter, and was 3-2 in his last five both losses via KO, one to badly injured blown up 126 Loma Jojo is a tiny career 126 featherfist who had only fought at the weight once before, a fight many feel he was lucky to have his hand raised in, and had only stopped 2 of his previous 12 and was giving away 7'' in reach And Haney is a lot naturally bigger and heavier than Kambosos and the later cannot deal with boxers, even shot ones his own size, as evidenced by his two SD wins against career 126 Selby and old inactive Bey who had only fought once in three years. Haney couldn't even register a single wobble against any of those guys even though he's much naturally bigger and heavier them and two of them were shot, notoriously chinny, and have been stopped in every single one their ten combined other losses, almost all of which sans one or maybe possibly two came at the hands of fighters a lot smaller than Haney. What do you think Taylor would do to all those guys? But problem is Taylor's trainer is also one of Haney's assistant trainers This content is protected
No worse than Tank's Pitbull Cruz problems.... after all, Taylor won that match fair and square, no controversy whatsoever.
Haney is not coming close to beating Taylor. Taylor is extremely rough. Haney better hope he has a ref to call a halt to the action anytime Haney wants one of his clinches or he;s going to get horribly mauled.
Nah Taylor was dropped and lost that one man. Taylor also didn't hurt his hand like tank did in his fight with Cruz until that point he was fully in control. Taylor-catterall was much more disputed than tank-cruz was. In fact if they both rematched tank would be a much bigger favorite than Taylor who might even be an underdog.
C'mon Pimp, you can't have it both ways. Taylor was coming off of a knee injury and a pretty bad chest infection, and clearly had trouble making the weight and looked cadaverous at the weigh in. Then when you add in the bull**** point deduction and the questionable knockdown called. At best Catterall nicked it by a point, or lost it by a point. The fight was the very definition of close, with almost every round being a nightmare to score. That's not just me, but IB talking as well, and he had it for Catterall by a point. Now sure, you could say I was being biased scoring the match a point in Cruz's favor, but was IB being biased, he scored it exactly the same. Not only that, but countless other objective scorers had it either a draw, or to Cruz or Tank by a point. With most scoring the first two rounds, and the 4th before the injury to Cruz. Proving he was doing well even before the injury. Not to mention, Gervonta won a few after he hurt his hand, after he broke it in the 6th. So Cruz was very much competitive beforehand. https://eyeonthering.com/boxing/gervonta-davis-vs-isaac-cruz As far as the Taylor-Catterall controversy, it's most likely down to a Taylor being Scottish and Catterall being a Brit thing. It was much ado about nothing, and blown violently out of proportion. much like the Fury-Wilder draw. Even a few articles have been written addressing how asinine the outcry was after it.
