Not so fast. Inoue is great but Sunny Edwards is slicker than oil on grease and you can't hurt what you can't hit This content is protected
I am a big Inoue fan, my account history is all Inoue stuff, but chill bro. I agree with you that it's unfair to Inoue that he makes quality opponents look ordinarily, so optically, it makes him look like he doesn't have any quality wins to the casuals. Especially since he doesn't speak English and is small, he isn't that marketable to the English-speaking fanbase. But #1 p4p? Chill buddy. This win just further cemented himself in the top 3. I got Uysk as #1 Love your enthusiasm though
As a big a twonk as Sunny is, and he's a massive one, he is super slick though. Like one of the slickest in the game
yeah he’s very slick class technician but we both know serge that inoue puts him in hospital. inoue has got brillant punch placement and we’ve not seen anybody go to edwards body yet. Inoues body assault will take away edwards legs. Plus inoue has very good footwork himself plus edwards doesn’t have power to stop inoue walking him down with the jab and his perfect timing and punch selection.
That's factually incorrect. Razor close fight with Breidis. Dropped rounds to Bellew. Looked very uncomfortable against Chisora.
For sure but Inoue is the only leprechaun born from their mother who can beat Slick Sunny Edwards He would knock him out but everyone else would be chasing ghost shadows against Sunny Loma and possibly Tyson Fury are the only slicksters born from their mother Inoue cannot beat
While I agree that Usyk is P4P number 1. I disagree with you denigrating the Donaire win and writing it off like it's something to be scoffed at. We see people hyping Crawford beating Porter, treating it like it was a career defining win. Look, I like Porter, but going into this fight, it was clear Porter has been on the slide. He looked less than stellar against Ugas, barely beat him, and did far poorer jobs against Granados and Formella, than Danny Garcia and friggin Conor Benn did. Sure, Porter was still ultra competitive against Spence and even Crawford before the stoppage, because Porter is a pain in the ass stylistically to pretty much everyone. But the fact that he retired right afterward, is telling. An argument could be made that he's mentally out of the game and is just as if not more shot, due to the wars he's been in, than Donaire. However, with Donaire, you have to place him in the proper perspective. What he's done in recent years is quite impressive. Sure, he took several L's up at Featherweight, but he should have never been at Featherweight to begin with. So it would be the equivalent of Manny Pacquiao deciding to move up from Welterweight to Middleweight. Get KO'd by Charlo (Walters), then going down to Light Middleweight and getting outpointed in a close match by Brian Castano (Magdaleno), then going back up to Middleweight taking on Saunders (Frampton) and hurting him badly late. Then decides to move back down to Welterweight, and proceeds to KO Michael McKinson (Burnett) Custio Clayton (Young), then lose to Spence (Inoue) on points, then go on to take the 0's of Stanionis (Oubaali) and Benn (Gaballo). Then rematch Spence (Inoue) and lose by KO. Like I said about GGG, even this old version is the best Middleweight on the planet. Well that means a win over him still really matters. So why doesn't it matter as much, when as you said, he just beat the 2nd best and most dangerous Bantamweight on the planet?
Glad to see you finding back your unwavering support for the monster! I remember you gave donaire quite the fighter's chance for this bout and for good reason as well. But dammm the name is fitting what a monster
