Fury and Usyk are the only ones who could even be competitive imo, and Fury is the only one who has a somewhat realistic chance of winning outside of a Hail Mary upset.

Yes, it absolutely would - if he needed to employ them that is. Lewis was at the top of the division in a much better era than this.

His cheerleaders will be quite offended with that.
How did Wlad's tactics work against Fury or even Joshua? They come unstuck pretty fast against big fighters with some skill, absolutely.
But Lewis was a lot sloppier than Wlad. I could see him getting nailed by plenty of rangy fighters and some smaller ones too. Hey, it already happened with smaller fighters in his day!

But I'm confident he goes into the Wilder fight with typical arrogance and ends up eating a fast RH bomb and twitching on the canvas.
I would actually back AJ to beat him because AJ has better defence.
    Fury beats him.
I think Povetkin would get some bombs through from the smaller guys, I give him a good shot.
And yes, Haye could absolutely land a big RH and end Lewis. No way Lewis is as sharp as Wlad was all fight (and still ate a big one late).
    Wlad also KO's him.

Cheerleaders scoff at all this but that's because they block out Rahman and the short mental case guy, both of whom smashed the ''ATG''.

If Wlad and Lewis applied their clinching methods in the same manner you might have a point but they don't. Wlad was primarily a defensive clincher, his lack of an inside game and counter punching necessitated this when facing smaller opponents. Which is why Wlad clinched far less when facing similar sized and larger opponents who were not looking to get inside.

Lewis in contrast not only clinched like Wlad to prevent smaller aggressive fighters working their way inside, he also untilised his clinching, mauling, manhandling style offensively unlike Wlad. Using it often against bigger men like Grant, Akinwande, Vitali etc as in these scenario's he was the one wanting to get up close and utilise his inside skills.

Simply put, Wlad isn't Lewis. Show me a fight where Wlad is up against a big man and clinches like he does vs Povetkin or similar small fighters, you won't find such an example, not Wach not Thompson so unsurprisingly also not Fury and not AJ. But Lewis with his different approach and wider skill set you will find examples of this as I named above.

Hate to break this to you, but Wlad was 39 1/2 against Fury, looked terrible his previous fight and had a newborn and a flakey gf going off the rails at the time. Fury ran from the rematch for a reason. Still hasn't faced anyone decent in their prime

Usyk is far more skilled than Fury and his going to humiliate Fury in the ring. Usyk beats Lewis, Lewis destroys Wilder and Fury.

Lewis knocks Wilder out. Wilder can't box and has terrible defense. If it's the Lewis of the Golota fight, Wilder doesn't make it out of the first round.

Lewis destroys Joshua and Wlad. Saying Joshua has better defense that Lewis is a joke, and even if he does, it wouldn't matter because his chin is worse. Joshua got rocked by Whyte, dropped by Wlad, and stopped by Ruiz.

Wlad couldn't fight on the inside to save his life.

Is it comedy hour here? You can hate on LL as much as you want but the fact still remains that he is one of the, if not the best heavy weight boxer ever. LL beats them all at any time in history.

Skill isnt the only factor that goes into winning a fight, the size difference more than negates any skill gap between the two, especially when you add in that Fury can really move and box for his size. If Usyk actually did find a way to "humiliate" Fury it would be up there as one of the most impressive feats in HW history. That fight is probably never gonna happen anyway.

Lennox was a monster . If he could not employ his trainer's tactic ; he would just punch Vitali until Vitali had an extra gaping mouth on his face. Anyone today gets ko'd hard by Lewis.

Of the current era only Wilder may land a bomb to beat Lewis but more than likely he gets starched inside 4 rounds,as for Fury well that would have been a real interesting match up and Fury could well pull it off and get the win. As for Usyk as skilled as he is he’s just too small to trouble Lewis and gets stopped mid to late.Different eras completely but defo nice talking points to how these fights would have unfolded .

Still career highest and old. Funny how you don't want to mention that though
