Yeah, Da Preem was also in Mighty Joe Young. I think he was the anchor with other assorted strong men in a tug of war over water with the oversized gorilla. Suffice to say, Mighty Joe won - all the strongmen ending up in the drink.
Which is more than I gave him for his performance in Tyson vs Seldon, where he did a terrible job of playing a boxer. Sorry if that's the joke you were making, Pugs.
Yeah it was. LOL. No dramas. I’ll have to work on my joke telling. My family never gets them either but unfortunately for them it never stops me.
Not gonna lie that did make me chuckle, but on a serious note I didn't mind the film, apart from Sofia Coppolas terrible acting.
The wonderful Jack Palance had about 12 pro fights under the name Jack Brazzo he is on Box rec and his last recorded fight was a dec loss to Joe Baksi. Palance would have made a great choice to play Dempsey imo.
It was a Hercules film in the late 60s and Primo played the role of a man that when you threw him to the floor he got stronger, Hercules couldn't figure out what to do to beat him, then realised he had to throw him in the sea to win, remember seeing the film when I was around 12/14 and the Hercules part was played by Steve Reeves, anyone remember him ? . Waltier Cartier was in dozens of episodes of Bilko . stay safe guys.
McLaglen was the best actor of the bunch. Academy Award and all that. Lennox and Wlad played themselves in Ocean's 11. As mentioned, Tyson is probably the best combination of boxing ability and acting. Not a good actor, perhaps, but he played a memorable version of himself in The Hangover that helped make the movie.
