Ruiz Jr almost reached peak human performance in the first Joshua bout, but he still has a way to go to become legendary. This content is protected
The Middleweight Jack Dempsey used to hang in there with Heavyweights. Against Ruiz? Ruiz is obviously tougher than he looks, but I would think Dempsey could have a few moments early, because of his speed, and maybe lose a decision to Andy? And it might be close. The Nonpareil was no slouch against Heavies. Some thought he could have given Sullivan a real tussle. That's why he was called "The Nonpareil."
Dempsey would have massacred Ruiz. Dempsey had a highly underrated defense, Andy would run out of wind just trying to land clean on him. Dempsey’s relentless assault would wear him down within five rounds.
If you're referring to the comic book term "peak human" I think the closest boxers we saw to that were prime Tyson, Roy Jones, maybe Robinson. If you had a 5 star rating for every category like speed, power, skill, timing, etc they'd have 5 stars in everything relative to their size. That's essentially what a "peak human" means, absurdly well rounded athletic freak. As for Ruiz, I'm not sure if this is just a troll post, but his lack of flexibility and foot speed would keep him out of this distinction.
You wish pal, In order to redeem yourself this time you have to be the only man to survive Sensei @djanders “Buffalo” right cross.
