Bivol knows it: "Both are equally strong, but I'll go with Beterbiev because he's a good boxer."

People make a mistake of Artur as the prototypical power puncher, the guy is a good boxer too.

I longer Gvozdyk, but this was seriously disgraceful and pathetic cuckery. Even had the Canelo cap, too!!!

    Stevenson.
Even if old, Stevenson had still grid and speed and his terrific power. I don't think there were many fighters at the time who could take Stevenson.

    Beterbiev will brutally finish smith.

Beterbiev vs bivol! That's a fight. Will bivol have enough grid to outbox beterbiev over 12 or will beterbiev grind him down?
Imo beterbiev will ko Smith early and then ko bivol late, similar to the gvozdyk fight

I've heard people say that Beterbiev is basically a bigger Golovkin, which means that he'd beat Canelo.

Except for the fact that Beterbiev is NOWHERE NEAR as skilled as Golovkin.

It's too bad the wasted most of his prime away. He's a huge underachiever.

Still has time though to carve a nice legacy though.

Look what Bivol, Usyk, Lomachenko and Beterbiev have achieved in less than 20 fights....

Usyk and Lomachenko achieved a lot. Bivol is still in his prime so he can add more to his legacy.

Beterbiev was someone I always felt could have done more... way more. He could have been an ATG at 175 with his physical attributes & power.

Possibly the most laughably ignorant take on fisticuffs I've ever read in my life.

    Beterbiev is getting wildly overrated.

You have people who think he could beat a prime Roy Jones Jr.

    Jones would duck him.

A power-punching, powerful pressure fighter would do better than most adversaries Jones faced.
Beterbiev got screwed in 2008 Olympics. He was robbed against the Chinese boxer who eventually got the gold. In 2012 he lost to Usyk.
He was a world champ LHW, easily comparable to Kovalev.

Beterbiev wouldn't win a round against a prime Roy. The speed difference between a prime Roy and Beterbiev would be like The Flash against a sloth.

Old, fat McCallum did. Depending on speed to beat Jones is pointless since nobody was faster.

Lots of guys 99% of people on this forum have never heard of had the chance to work inside on Roy. A prime RJJ was absolutely one of the best ever, but to pretend someone as imposing and accomplished as Beterbiev wouldn't win a round is silly.

He obliterated Smith Jr like he was nothing

    He would light Roy up.

You don't have to be flashy to be good or to overcome slick.
