How would F. Mayweather in his prime have fared against any of the Four King`s title opponents?

Leonard can turn up the heat all he wants, it's useless. He won't be able to hit FMJ clean. Leonard misses and Floyd counters him all night long.

    This thread again?

He loses to all 4. Hearns dominates him. The other three beat him in competitive fights.

He was better than Hagler and Hearns. Leonard and Duran were better than him.

    All four are greater.

Leonard was as skilled offensively up at WW.

Yeah, he was outboxed by Hearns. Because Hearns himself was a GREAT boxer, who stood at 6’1 with a huge 78” reach.

You’ll be telling me next that Floyd could have outboxed Hearns.

Get back on the PS5 to play Fight Night.

You have no comprehension of anything.

It’s nothing but fanboy fantasy drivel.

Floyd was faded with bad hands at the higher weights. A careful, safety first businessman.

A prime Leonard would have fought him aggressively if needed, completely shutting down his offense.

    He wouldn’t have countered.

He’d have backed up and covered up like he did against Oscar in 2007.

A prime version of Ray fighting Floyd aggressively would have been useless?

    I despair.

We just need No Brain to join the thread now.

That would be the cherry on top.

4-0 especially if he catches them at the right time.

One of the fantastic things about Mayweather is that he was at the top of the game for almost twenty years, so he didn’t need excuses like your typical cokehead/alcoholic “ATG,” rolly polly guy w 15 loses, or guy that bragged about not training.

Hagler and Hearns are way more likely to beat him than Duran and Leonard.

I am no fanboy of Mayweather, I've never liked the man or his style. I like Tyson and Hagler type boxers, not Mayweather type.
But we need to give him his dues, he was incredible for 2 decades. He figured out and beat everyone that was put in front of him.
He would do the same with Leonard.
It would be a quite comfortable win for Floyd.

No, I see Hearns as the most likely to beat Floyd, due to his incredible jab, reach and right hand.

He should just start a cult like the 70s HWs. He already looks a little like Manson says Frazier.

    He gets his dues.

He did figure out everyone who he fought.

    You are correct.

Now let me ask you the following questions:

Did he ever fight a truly great fighter whilst they were in their prime?

Did he ever fight anybody with equal speed and a better offense?

Did he ever fight anyone who even resembled Ray Leonard?

Did he have the firepower in order to have fought his way out of a struggle if needed?

Did he fight anyone with equal skills, speed and size, but who was also stronger?

I’ll help you out with the answers.

Every one of them is: No.

Therefore, your opinion isn’t based on anything.

    It carries zero weight.

    It has no value whatsoever.

Proclaiming that Floyd would easily have beaten a truly great fighter like Leonard, is just fantasy waffle.

There’s no evidence whatsoever to even support that theory.

The best win of his entire career was probably an S/D over a faded Oscar.

Have a word with yourself and come back to reality.

    Good.

Now look at Ray’s attributes and tell me why it would have been an easy win for Floyd.

    Ray was stronger.

    Ray was bigger.

    He had much more firepower.

He had equal speed at WW.

He had a better offensive arsenal at WW.

He had two roads to victory, whereas Floyd only theoretically had the one.

Ray was prime at the weight.

Floyd was past prime at the weight.

Floyd had bad hands at the weight.

The theory of an easy win is just a fantasy.
