Yes, but I wrote about the longest winning streak and that was 18 wins for Ali against top 10 contenders (from his debut to Frazier). At least according to my book. I think hhascup already wrote about his overall record. But interesting infos about some other fighters!

Yes Ali and Holmes seemed like they would look at the top ten , and fight them all.

Such a poor post. Ali (2nd fight) and Frazier both had Quarry's number. Joe really had his number, Quarry was a mess in the 2nd fight.. These 2 are the only ones who beat Quarry badly.. You could throw in Norton also, as an over-the-hill, poorly conditioned Quarry took the fight on short notice.
So a still green Quarry lost to Machen, Quarry lost a close decision to Ellis, Quarry was leading Chuvalo till the left hook landed.
Your lack of being objective would likely lead you to count the Ron Cramer fiasco.

BTW., An insert about Sonny Liston's Top 10 opponents (according to the mentioned book):

    1954: - Marty Marshall L
    1955: - Marty Marshall W
    1958: - Wayne Bethea W
    1959: - Mike DeJohn W
    1960: - Roy Harris W
    - Zora Folley W
    - Eddie Machen W
    1962: - Floyd Patterson W
    1963: - Floyd Patterson W
    1964: - Muhammad Ali L
    1965: - Muhammad Ali L
    1969: - Leotis Martin L

    Overall record: 8-4 (7 KO's)

I didn't know that Marty Marshall was Top 10 in his first two bouts with Liston.
Maybe someone knows his exact position?
I rather assumed Johnny Summerlin would be Top 10. The Ring Magazine's Annual Rating rated him No.7 in 1955. Well, he had some good wins after the Liston fights.
Anyways, Liston had a pretty damn tough pro-debut (Summerlin + Marshall twice in his first ten bouts).
Cleveland Williams was arguably not Top 10 when he fought Liston.

After losing to Frazier he beat Ellis, MacFoster, Patterson, Quarry, Bugner, Norton, Frazier, Foreman, Wepner, Lyle, Bugner, Frazier, Young, Norton, Shavers and Spinks. All ranked. So that would make a total of 34 wins over ranked fighters.

I have: Miteff, Daniels, Lavorante, Moore, Jones, Cooper 1, Liston 1, Liston 2, Patterson 1, Chuvalo, Cooper 2, London, Mildenberger, Williams, Terrell, Folley, Quarry, Bonavena
    (18 wins till Frazier)

Then: Ellis, Mac Foster, Patterson 2, Quarry, Bugner 1, Norton 2, Frazier 2, Foreman, Wepner, Lyle, Bugner 2, Frazier 3, Young, Norton 3, Evangelista, Shavers, Spinks 2
(Bob Foster, LHW-Champion probably doesn't count)

Hmm, somehow I have one more (Evangelista). This would make a total of 35 wins.

Ramage 1, Perroni, Ramage 2, Brown, Carnera, Levinsky, Max Baer, Retzlaff, Sharkey, Ettore, Pastor 1

Braddock, Farr, Mann, Schmeling 2, (John Henry Lewis as LHW-Champion), Galento, Pastor 2, Godoy 1, Paychek, Godoy 2, Burman, Simon 1, Buddy Baer 1, Conn 1, Nova, Buddy Baer 2, Simon 2, Conn 2, Mauriello, Walcott 1, Walcott 2, Savold, Brion

Overall 33 or 34 wins (including John Henry Lewis). Maybe someone was ranked as LHW-contender instead of HW.

    Your list is off

Henry Clark entered the Liston fight ranked No. 5 by the WBA and No. 9 by The Ring magazine.

Cleveland Williams was ranked No. 10 by The Ring magazine entering the second liston fight in 1960.

That may well be, I only got it from the book: "The Boxing Register: International Boxing Hall of Fame Official Record Book". But I can't see a monthly rating under your link.
