Who wins at 168lbs? I know most will probably say Toney, but I'm going with Ward - based on the fact that he'll use every dirty, under-handed tactic in the book to ensure victory. Not many punches will be thrown or landed - as both guys had low work-rates & excellent defense. It'll be an ugly, boring 12 round SD/MD win for Ward, for being the busier man & more dominant during clinches.

Close one, probably comes down to who you like more. As mentioned, most will likely take Toney, but Ward proved himself as the top super middleweight of his generation and by a long shot too. Similair too Wlad post Brewster, it wasn’t that Ward didn’t lose fights in his prime, he barely lost rounds.

I’ll take a split or majority decision either way.

Yeah I'd go with Ward by close decision too , and not for any technical reason really

Toney had a low workrate at 168?
I love Toney but like everyone says, it depends which Toney shows up. At his best he could take this one, but Ward is more consistent. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose I'd say Ward.

Lights-Out wins via points 117-111 . Dre ain't never face anything near the caliber of an ATG level technician like Toney. Dre would get beaten to the punch repeatedly and picked apart. The poll results speaks for itself

The poll results just reflect how people love Toney and dislike Ward.

I agree with this. James had his moments when he mailed it in. He was just so inconsistent. But the best of James beats the best of Andre

Prime 4 Prime , Both fighters on their A game. Toney is just superior to Dre. Faster hands , More power , Far better chin , Tremendous counter puncher , slick defense. He is simply the more impressive fighter.

If you take both fighters and make them switch their resumes and fight each other opposition . Toney would end his career 32 - 0 and Ward would come out with even more losses than Toney did.

    That’s a lie. I don’t think you’re familiar with Toney’s career.

Ward wins on ring IQ, not finesse. That’s why his last loss was when he was about 12 or 13 years old.

Dre ring IQ is not bailing him out against a Prime Toney . Dre last loss was back in 2016 , not when he was a teenager. Lights-Out was the Superior fighter , I said what I said .
