Always felt Mayweather went through his entire career without that truly defining moment to prove his greatness. The one guy that could have done that was Pacquiao, (maybe), but he was KO'ed by Marquez and Mayweather waited five years past the due date to finally make the "Superfight". Even when they finally did get it on, it was a lousy fight and in fact I was in the minority that thought Manny won it.

 

The Pacquiao that Mayweather beat minus the shoulder injury is still better than current era, but I agree that it's not a prime Pacquiao.

The Canelo 23 year old that fought floyd is not the same as the matured strong as a bull version who fought Bivol. Floyd and Bivol style are not the same, Bivol's in and out combination punching style is in fact closer to a Pacquiao style than a Mayweather style.

I remember Floyd had a chance to fight a prime Keith Thurman when Keith was the man in Welterweight at that point, but he went for Berto instead.
