It's going to hurt some peoples feelings hut Hearns would decision him, Robinson however would stop him in the rematch

For those who do not know about your surreal posts & good-natured trolling, I will point out that in 1951 SRR reached 129-1-2!
    Fighting with breakneck frequency.
Just by then, far more fights that Hearns ever had.
Already campaigning for many bouts at MW, winning the national title that year, with 8 successful defenses: & the only loss he *ever* had to that point was to Raging Bull-who outweighed him by 16 lbs., & he beat LaMotta in all 5 later fights.

Others covered most everything relevant already, I will just add that unless Robinson is part his peak, he is an overwhelming favorite.

I agree with this, the fight against Jake La Motta on Feb 14 1951 was referred as The Matador vs The Bull.

Yo, feel you, but you may think I'm durreal or trolling a little but I will say they: Did not know Robinson ever broke his neck speeding. But look at Tyson, broke his back, still fought, got very little props or Pazienza even but he got a lot of props. Regardless, peace. Hearns fought at cruiserweight where fighters like Robinson may've feared to tread, like so many angels with dirty faces.

I give Tommy two wins out of ten, both catching Sugar by thunderous rights. The other eight losses he’s schooled by one of the greatest of all times.

Because their styles were clearly different.

Until I've seen footage of it, I don't know whether:

    1) Robinson was saved by a long count and he could not have got up in time

    2) There was a legitimate reason that may have delayed the start of the count

    3) Robinson could have got up within ten seconds but used the extra time to his advantage

All I know for certain is that Robinson was only stopped once in 200 fights and that was due to the heat and that claiming that Robinson vs Hearns is a 50/50 fight is crazy.

    I'm not explaining the obvious.

Go on YouTube, watch some of their fights and you'll see the clear difference in their styles.

Their more alike than unalike .
Maybe you should refresh your thoughts by watching
    them on You Tube.

It would be an epic fight, Tommy is a stylistic nightmare for just about everyone (especially at welter). Robinson though, is the best ever. I think Hearns gives Robinson a real tough fight, but in the end Robinson stops him. If Leonard could do it, Robinson could do it as well. Robinson also is more than likely not getting stopped. Dropped? A definite possibility he needs to get off the canvas for this one. It would be a great fight and probably spawn a rematch or two in the 50s.

Well, SRR has never fought a Hearns type of fighter before.
