Canelo was 23 years old with less than 8 years as a pro when he fought Mayweather
Canelo was 31 years old with more than 16 years as a pro when he fought Bivol

Canelo had 7 world title fights when he fought Mayweather
Canelo had 20 world title fights when he fought Bivol

Canelo had to make 152 lbs (catchweight) against Mayweather: his lowest in 2.5 years, rehydrating to 165
Canelo had to make 175 lbs against Bivol, rehydrating to the high 170's or 180's

Canelo KO’d one of his three opponents (one of whom he beat by controversial decision) prior to Mayweather, at 154
Canelo KO’d all of his three opponents (two being undefeated world champions) prior to Bivol, at 168

Canelo landed 117 punches on Mayweather according to Compubox, Canelo was outlanded in 11 rounds
Canelo landed 84 punches on Bivol according to Compubox, Canelo was outlanded in all 12 rounds

Superstar American Mayweather was fighting at home (against a much lower profile version of Canelo)
Unknown Russian Bivol was fighting away (against the "P4P No.1" and "face of boxing", in the midst of a war which made Russia a very unpopular nation)

    Mayweather won a majority decision
    Bivol won a unanimous decision

Mayweather was a comfortable favourite (given a 72.2% chance to win)
Bivol was a wide underdog (given an 18.2% chance to win)

Mayweather and Bivol have identical reach (72’)

Clenelo/Void was a glorified sparring match. Absolute garbage. Bivol beat a prime Clenelo in a real boxing match with everything going against him.

Canelo was drained to death and Floyd was roided out. Bivol beat a hulked up Clenelo in his prime.

Bivol's was better, no weight drain and Canelo was like 31-32 and he commited to more power shots as well, stood his ground and beat Canelo at his own game in instances

lol Mayweather hater alert. Floyd practically shut out Alvarez and was a much smaller fighter. Clearly Mayweather’s win was more impressive.

Mayweather was marginally taller and had longer arms than Canelo. Rather than size as a whole you are referring to weight: Mayweather was 10.79 stone to Canelo's 11.79. Mayweather landed more punches although he also took more punches than Bivol, which wasn't what Mayweather aimed to do as a defensive fighter. But the weight discrepancy doesn't override all of the other factors, especially considering that the relatively green, young, small, non-punching, wide underdog Canelo was tactically weight drained because A-side diva Mayweather tended to struggle at 154. According to Compubox Bivol actually did shut out Canelo, whereas Mayweather almost did, so that's not an argument for Mayweather's win being better.

Okay so Floyd legitimately 12-0’d Canelo but neither guy was in their prime age or weight class. Floyd was at his max weight and Canelo was at his start weight. Floyd was close to the end of his championship run while Canelo has just started.

Bivol 10-2/9-3 Canelo while both guys were in their physical prime. It’s hard to gage whether 60 or 68 is Canelo’s prime weight because I rate GGG, Cotto and Jacobs significantly higher than Smith, BJS and Plant. Either way I believe Bivol’s win over Canelo was by far more impressive.

Lol Canello was the champ and had about forty fights. Him being “green” is just an excuse made up to diminish Mayweather’s win. I guess Mayweather was bigger than Qawi too using your logic. As for being drained, Alvarez weighed just one pound less at the weighin than his previous fight. Haters going to hate.

Good points in both sides I’d like to say it an equally =good schooling.

given the age that Floyd was when he fought Canelo as the older smaller man, Was impressive win.

the prime canelo schooling is equally impressive. Bivol took it to a dangerous prime Nelo. Prime for prime.

Bivol would beat Floyd. He's too big.

And before some clown comes at me with ''but but Floyd beat the way bigger Sugar Sweet Hands Logan Paul," Sugar Sweet Hands Logan Paul is no Jake ''Money'' Paul and Bivol would beat Sugar Sweet Hands Logan Paul too.

Clenelo fought Floyd in 2013. That's almost a decade ago. Clenelo's in his physical prime right now and at his very best.

Yup. Easily more impressive. People are delusional. Floyd didn’t get touched too.

Clenelo is competing 23 pounds north from where they fought 9 years later. GTFOH. The best version of Clenelo, which is NOW, would send Floyd's head into the stands.
