36 years old in a career where he barely took damage, took numerous vacations, and was using PEDs, but sure. Oh, and Floyd was blazing fast, punching hard, and walked Clenelo down.

I get it. And the point remains current Alvarez DESTROYS the Alvarez that Mayweather beat.

You forgot to add in your horribly biased and agenda driven thread.
Pbf 36 and faded borderline shot much smaller man in his 5th weight class
Bivol 31 and prime much bigger man in his second weight class

Okay. A stronger, heavier Alvarez beats the version that Mayweather fought. Doesn’t mean he is a better fighter now than he was then. “Money” at 147 beats “Pretty Boy”at 135. So what does that prove? “Pretty Boy” was a better fighter than “Money”.

Bivol beat Canelo slightly worse, but the majority decision means nothing.

CJ Ross had Tim Bradley beating Pac.

She was pushed out of judging for screwing up high profile fight results.

Floyd won nine clear rounds against Canelo.

You left out that Mayweather was 36 years old, had been a pro for 17 years and Floyd was outweighed on the night of the fight by a good 10 pounds against the 165-pound Canelo.

And Bivol was 31 years old, had been a pro for eight years and was in his prime, and Bivol outweighed Canelo on the night of the fight (Bivol certainly didn't give up 10 pounds).

You mean 36. He beat Pac more than a year and a half later, who was still a top welter 4 years later at 40 years old, despite being a naturally smaller man.

It's magical thinking to believe that a world class boxer can be obsessively practicing his craft for another 8 years while approaching his physical, technical and experiential prime and NOT improve significantly, let alone not improve at all.

"You forgot to add in your horribly biased and agenda driven thread"

"Pbf 36 and faded borderline shot"

    No self-awareness.

    "2nd weight class"

Bivol turned pro in his early-mid 20's after a more extensive amateur career, not in his late teenage years like Mayweather. Bivol was much closer to being fully physically mature when he turned pro so of course he isn't going to be moving up weight classes. There is also a 25 lbs gap between LHW and cruiser, whereas the weight gaps between the lower divisions are comparatively tiny.

The roided Canelo Bivol fought had 12 rounds with the likes of Cotto, Mayweather and GGG … You can't buy experience like that.. he probably learned more in those four fights than he did in his previous 20 LOL.. he's certainly much better now than he was at 23 , to argue otherwise is just being wilfully ignorant

"All those fights and training camps will have surely had an effect on him by now"

Yes, in making him a much better fighter.

The 152 lbs catchweight Canelo who fought Mayweather wasn't even a KO artist against 154 pounders and got a gift in his previous fight. The 175 lbs Canelo who fought Bivol was walking down, beating up and knocking out undefeated world champion 168 pounders.

Was pbf 36 faded the smaller man and in his 5th weight class?? You never brought any of that up, why? Because you have an agenda and aren't interested in facts you're interested in trying to discredit one man's accomplishment while trying to prop up another man's accomplishment. You're full of **** and don't have an ounce of credibility in your whole thread. You're an alt troll with an axe to grind nothing more.
