    Which accomplishment is more impressive, in your opinion? Roy became the first fighter in over a century to win titles from MW to HW, and Pacquiao became the first ever fighter to win world titles in 8 weight classes. However, both accomplishments come with asterisks.

    Roy won a paper belt off a guy who was AT ABSOLUTE BEST the 5th best HW in the world, while Pacquiao fought for a vacant belt against a guy who was unproven above 147 and had been busted for using plaster of Paris, and the fight was at a catchweight.

    Pac at age 40 beat a brilliant fighter at welterweight in Thurman while Roy got koed by Danny Green.

    Neither of them was a champ of anything at HW or 154, respectively.

    Pacquaio aged better than Jones and pretty much anyone else in modern times, but at his peak he never was as dominant as Roy.

    I never felt Roy beating Ruiz was as legit a title win as many would think. Ruiz did not use his size, so Jones had the typical fight he had just with a taller guy..
