Power, a big guy like White got smashed around like a ragdoll, there`s no way Carnera could have evaded or taken Moorer`s power shots.

This kind of sums up the problem with posters like you.

You watch a modern fighter beating up a third rater like White, and then you imagine the faces of the champions of the past on their body.

What ever we say about Willard, he was a tough fella, in their with Dempsey getting knocked all over the place.

    Foreman had excellent ring geometry.

Morrison wouldnt gas against Carnera , it wouldnt go long enough for that to happen, Primo had a soft chin he wasn't Ray Mercer!

Loughran could not hit and he was outweighed by 86lbs hobbling around on a broken toe. Carnera was a floored by light heavies.

Loughran was 2 and a half inches shorter than Moorer had 5 inches shorter reach Moorer typically weighed 220lbs, Loughran186 for Carnera plus Moorer could whack and was a southpaw.

My point is that just being a very good technician, won't get you very far against Carnera.

    It did Larry Gains!
    And Sharkey 1 st time!

Just being a slightly past it punchless lhvy technician probably wouldnt cut it.

    Tunney
    Holmes
    Patterson
    Walcott
    Charles
    Mike Spinks
Were very good technicians would you pick Carnera to beat any of them?

Then why did he follow Morrison around all night instead of stepping over and cutting him off?

You're judging Foreman by his fight with Morrison when George was 44 years old? Sound. Watch his earlier fights. If you notice Foreman always has Morrison in front of him, that is because he is taking two lateral steps in either direction to do so.

If you think Foreman NEVER learned to cut the ring, you should watch his 70s fights. One of if not the best I’ve ever seen.

    Yes, albeit before his prime.
Yes I am sure that he would have beaten some of them.
