He's referring to the win over Kirk, not Kevin.

I would love to see a match between Vitali and Putin.....to the death.

Lennox was known for busting open fighters' brows with punches. He cut Vitali because he hit him f***ing hard in the face multiple times. That's all there is to debate about that one.

Rematch would have been nice, I agree. Not sure who would have won that.

    1 Peter
    2 Sanders
    3 Adamek
    4 Kirk Johnson
    5 Arreola

remember Kirk Johnson was one of the best in the world at the time and had destroyed Oleg Maskaev and Larry Donald.

Coulda gone either way, Vitali was well in control and knew the win was within reach.

Vitali wasn't really in control. He almost got his head taken off by an uppercut and Lewis finished the round strong.

It really could've gone either way, but Steward was telling Lewis to target his injuries after round 6 and Vitali's face was shredded. I genuinely believe Lewis would've edged it.

He was past his prime anyway and didn't take Vitali seriously. Prime for Prime Lewis definitely wins

Nah Lewis was just up against someone just as good as himself. You said the fight coulda gone either way but then say Lewis definitely wins. There was nothing definite about it.

Yeah but it didn't though did it?
Lewis was getting control by wrecking Vitali's face late in the fight that's just the way it is.

And he got a pasting in the process, wobbling about like an old woman then promptly retiring.

Could've doesn't mean 50/50 in this context. Vitali Could've won. But i think Lewis was more likely to win. There were 6 more rounds to go and Lewis finished off stronger than Vitali. Vitali could've even gotten career ending damage. His face was f*cked up dude. No matter how much heart he had

Yes despite winning. He was very lucky and knew it hence his retirement.
