Bivol imo is a better pure boxer than the nail. You can't compare the 2 imo.

Zurdo isn't fighting either Bivol or Beterviev anytime soon if he can help it. He better wait for that vacant title shot if he hopes to maintain that pathetic Mayweather-esque undefeated streak he wants to keep going.

How long will it take for him to stop Yarde?

As we all know Bivol ducks him.

I think he does Yarde in under 4 rounds too.

It would be a much better fight obviously, but I don't see Bivol standing up to 12 rounds of that either. Maybe a repeat of the Nail bout.

Bivol will show his godlike footwork. Beterbiev impressed tonight no doubt. But Bivol would win it !!!

He wont lay on the ropes like Marcus Browne did in the mid rounds. He will be aware that letting Beterbiev conor him is a death sentence. He'll slip out the way like he did against an agressive Pascal and outbox him over 12. I'm glad Beterbiev won, because it needs to happen. Joe Smith couldn't get it done, but Bivol will defy the odds, beat the beats and be crowned the russian emperor.

You don't have to trust me, but it will happen

That’s his physical strength at play. Even as a 75kg amateur kid he had those sort of knockouts with short punches. It’s natural, plus he also lifts heavy weights and does explosive push ups to develop it.

They're about the same, but Gvozdyk has more power and a better jab.

I thought age and general inactivity was going to play a bigger role tonight. I thought a declining Biev would have a dangerous assignment against a prime, ultra motivated concussive puncher. I thought he would be slow enough to play into Joe's hands a bit due to his decline, and thought maybe he would be wary of Joe's power a bit which would see him box more than were used to.

I felt that all of this combining with Joe's size, durability and toughness would see this go longer than expected. So I picked him to win by decision because I thought on top of Joe's chin, Biev would be a bit more cautious and slow. I also felt Joe had a good chance to score the upset tonight, by ko.

Beterbiev took a Warhammer to my prediction and shattered it all over the ring. Lol.

    Respect.

This is the guy a lot of people were saying just the other day that Canelo didn't duck as Bivol was the tougher stylistic match.

Not convinced, not even a little :ohno
