Wilder, Inoue, Tank, Boots and a few others hit hard but Biev stands alone

With the other guys you can point to specific combos, setups or punches that they hit exceptionally hard with

There isn't one for Beterbiev. There isn't one shot, one setup, one combo you can point to and say if he lands that you're in trouble. It's literally anything he lands from any angle. He doesn't even load up or much at all for some of his most devastating KOs. Its unreal.

There is no wrong fight. That’s how he always fights and he got beat by a much better fighter.

I respectfully disagree that was clearly the wrong strategy for fighting someone as heavy handed as Artur.

I don’t think Joe has any strategy other than pressure the other guy and knock him out. He’s not exactly a boxer.

Beterbiev hits like a prime Marciano. Much shorter shots though, less windup.

    Bivol isn’t a big puncher, and he’s more of a 168lb fighter.

What did you think Smith could do? I had Beterbiev walking straight through him within 4. The only chance Smith had was a Hail Mary punch. Beterbiev is a far better boxer than Smith.

I don't disagree I think Artur would have got to him at some point regardless but at least if that was delayed by a few more rounds he might have landed something. As it was he was hurt early and any gameplan went out the window.

Smith really didn't stand a prayer. Probably for the best he got taken out early.

Smith’s trainer pretty much confirmed their tactics were to hurt Beterbiev early and take him out. As he said ‘whoever landed the first clean punch was winning the fight’

I saw Smith land but once he got dropped the first time (not ruled as a knock down) there was only one winner.

Beterbiev's power is very unique. I've never seen anything like it.

Every boxer in boxing needs extension on their shots to generate power. It doesn't matter if it's Inoue, Crawford, Canelo, Tank or Wilder. They all need to wind up. Beterbiev only needs 6 inches to beat you into submission. His arm punches are his power punches.
