What was competitive fight exactly? Bivol hasn't had a competitive fight in his career so far, no matter the scorecards in some, which was totally b.c.
He schooled every single opponent of his, and do that with EASE !!!
The guy has cardio for 20 rounds, is cold-headed, super calm in the ring, and knows how to box your head off, without being hit.

But let me get back on Smith fight, he won every single round of that fight. At best you can make a case for 1 round for Smith, where he land on/after the bell that haymakers that stunned Bivol. Bivol next round was like nothing hits him.
Smith landed less less than 40 punches through the whole 12 rounds, by compubox.
In reality he landed less than 15 punches, and just 4-5 hard shots, everything else was blocked/dodged.

This was kinda the same story with Clenbuterolos Alvarez the supposed P4P king, who everyone knows is on heavy dosage of roids.
Most of them are, but Clenbuterolos is literally s**** roids.

Also i see some ignorant people on here calling Bivol not a good amateur, when the guy has 300+ fights, with 286-15 record, and half or more of this loses were probably b.c.

Prime Kovalev still folded like a chair when Ward when to his body and then under the belt line.

you would be amazed watching Ward doing the same to beterbiev and even easier because beterbiev's boxing is simpler than kovalev's.

Power is not enought to fight fighters like ward. Not at all.

That's what the search function is for my friend. I'm sure someone has stanned MAB because he a great fighter, people have made ridiculous takes with far inferior guys...

You mean destroy his t***** through the whole fight, until stopped him with low blow? They accumulate you know ?
Ward clearly lost the first fight, there is not a single question about that one, and he should have been DQ in the second fight.

I agree Ward lost the first fight.

The second fight Kovalev came in with the wrong mentality and Ward knew how to capitalise on it, even if it was underhanded.

I think both of Kovalev and GGG start carrying only for money after they was robbed. Legacy was destroyed with the robberies.
GGG didn't seem to care much after the 2x robberies. Same with Kovalev.

Still in the second Ward fight, there a lot of low blows, not just the final one, but a lot in the earlier rounds, who soften Kovalev big time.
Anyway i always call things the way i see it, no matter if i like X or Y boxer or not.
Still this should be about Artur. His journey so far is absolutely incredible.

Beterbiev would beat Ward into a quivering heap no ifs or buts. You can even see the reluctance in Ward's eyes when he talks about Beterbiev.

He has no power to keep Beterbiev off of him let alone for 12 rounds.

    He cannot take Beterbiev's power.

He cannot avoid getting hit by doing his usual octopus routine because Beterbiev would bludgeon him into a wobbly legged mess in the clinch.

He's not as physically strong as Beterbiev.

He cannot duck his head below waist level because Beterbiev would discombobulate him with grazing shots and uppercuts.

He cannot outbox Beterbiev. The much better and bigger master boxer Usyk couldn't outbox Beterbiev or keep him off of him for 3 rounds, Ward stands zero chance of being able to do so for 12. Usyk said Beterbiev was his toughest opponent and even though he was much heavier than him and has fought a ton of huge punchers and KO artists at CW and HW in the pros and SHW in the ams praised his power.

Ward tries his dirty stuff with Beterbiev and the later will make him rue the day he was born.

Beterbiev trains and lives like a spartan and he does not abuse his body like Kovalev does with vodka and have a six round gas tank. He has a 12 round one. An exceptional one which enables him to throw bombs from first bell to last without noticeably diminishing. Kovalev gasses in the second half of the fight, Ward gasses late, Beterbiev doesn't know what the meaning of gas is and no one is going to make you gas like he will. He's going to get you at some point.

Kovalev was robbed blind in the first fight by the three home judges and stitched up by the home ref in the rematch.

Beterbiev would fight Ward in the US with Ward's customary home ref and three home judges at the drop of the hat. Ward had home advantage, whether it be hometown, home city, or home state against every single world class fighter he fought refused to allow Kovalev to have a single neutral judge for the rematch even after his three home ones robbed Kovalev in the first fight and he categorically wouldn't even contemplate fighting Beterbiev in Russia or Canada in a million years let alone with a home ref or a solitary home judge just like he wouldn't of with Kovalev in Russia.

Ward who'd had a combined 152 fights amateur and pro decided to call it a day aged 33 when he saw Beterbiev on the horizon, citing his body breaking down on him and it no longer being able to withstand the rigors of the sport, Beterbiev has had a combined 318 fights amateur and pro and his body has been through a lot more wear and tear. Ward was able to preserve himself from a lot of brain abuse via his use of excessive holding, ducking below waist level and leading with his head.

    Beterbiev via execution

Is it weird that I think Yarde could give Bivol trouble?

Fast, athletic fighters tend to give robotic Soviet fighters trouble.
