Ali kept hitting him in the face and the ref didn’t do a darned thing about it.

Robin Reid having to deal with that referee vs Sven Ottke comes to mind.

I like the adolpho Washington camera injury too

Jake LaMotta throwing the billy fox fight. Had to do it allegedly to get that title shot

How about Joe Frazier , a small swarmer , fighting his whole career legally blind in one eye ?

We need a "What Was the Lamest Excuse You Ever Heard a Fighter Give After a Loss?" thread.

Pacquaio got a draw vs Marquez due to a scoring issue, robbed against Bradley, arguably robbed against Horn, lost his final fight to a replacement fighter on less than 2 weeks notice.

    Possible injured shoulder vs Mayweather
Probable roided up Marquez in the 4th fight

That's one fighter with 6 excuses of varying levels of legitness. Can anyone think of someone with 7? I admit the shoulder injury and Horn are fairly weak so it could only be 4.

You could also argue that a lot of Pacman’s opponents have the same excuse as far as facing an opponent who is roided up, lol.

100% true. Also could argue Marquez won the third fight as well etc. Just trying to think of the person with the most

Can we know which 5 were straight up legitimate robberies. Why did the English boxing fraternity conspire against Gilroy?
I count 16 decision defeats is that right?13 of them were in his native Scotland.
