If he fought and defeated the AJ/Usyk winner and maybe a Joe Joyce level fighter his top 10 suddenly looks pretty solid.

Alright, I know one or two are arguable but the main point was there’s no comparison between Lewis’s opposition Vs Fury’s and certainly not when you limit it to the top 5

    Moron, really!
If you can’t stand a differing opinion to your own without calling names like a 9 year old then I suggest logging off and doing something else.

Wilder was a myth, Hardest puncher ever, give me a break!
Name me a fighter of note that Wilder has knocked out?
Don’t give me Ortiz because his resume is worse than Wilders!

Fury also fought the worst version of Wlad in arguably the stinkiest World Heavyweight fight ever endured by the fans.

i know he did, big freakin deal. Why did he whine about Ustinov showing up in shape?????? he faked an ankle injury to avoid the rematch with wlad. Then was seen at the bar jumping up and down watching soccer. Dude is one of the biggest liars alive.

why did he whine that the k bros, chisora and haye were setting him up because ustinov was actually in shape? Who gives a damn if his uncle was sick? no one gets time off for that.

Wlad, Wilder, Whyte, Chisora and Wallin - probably in that order.

Whyte and chisora aren’t even B level. They’re C level.

B levels are Wilder, or a prime Povetkin. Actually good world champs. A levels should be reserved for ATG level.

always saw it as Pac/may/Crawford/odlh/Wlad type to be A class. Hatton is B class. Now compare Hattons achievements vs Whyte.. a 2 division undisputed champion for his weight is B class, htf can Chisora and Whyte be B level?

    they're journeymens.

By what metric was Wilder an "actually good" world champ?

Lots of title defences, but almost all of them against fighters who were absolutely nowhere near genuine title contenders... His best wins were against Ortiz, who never really achieved much either - on a resume level, Ortiz isn't even an equal to a clear gatekeeper like Chisora.

Wilders an enigma at best and a myth at worst - even if he really was good enough to build a serious champions resume, for whatever reason he just didn't (whether over protected or just didn't fancy taking on the better fighters in the division)... So either he was good enough and just didn't do it, or he wasn't good enough to do it and fooled a whole load of casuals with a long highlight reel (and a dedicated army of followers hyping up useless opponents to try and manufacture a facade of respectability).

Hey whatever you feel about Wilder is you’re prerogative. He was a champion with 10 title defenses. If that was soo easy you would see more of it in the HW division. Tyson Fury can’t even stay focused enough to make more than 1 defense. That is considered an A level win on Fury’s resume

His resume is not much better than Wilder’s in my view but still better than Wilder’s to be fair
