Name A Fighter, That Could Push Joe Frazier To The Limit s?

So the exclusion of Louis is that an oversight, or you think that Joe wouldn't have stood a better chance of " pushing " Frazier than , well almost all of your pics , just curious mate.

Just trying to think outside the box, Louis jabs Frazier and bounces combinations of his face but Frazier may land his hook and floorJoe.

 

Foreman and Liston,,,yes. Lewis ? no. Lennox never had someone on him like Frazier and while he had good power he came nowhere near to stopping Evander and he couldn't keep Joe down if he did drop him. When Lennox gets off his stool for round 13 ahead by 3 or 4 points on the cards he begins to stall after taking all those hooks to the body and he gases . A crushing hook drops Lennox and he rises at 8, then he gets pummeled for another minute and sags to the canvas at 2: 52 of round 13.

 

I think Lewis crushes Frazier.

Sure but there are many who had more or less the same power, size, & some were at least as good overall.
Especially when somewhat bigger-you do acknowledge when the gap gets really large, & it is a skilled SHW type, it is increasingly unlikely someone Frazier's size can survive?

Do you believe at least that Lewis, the Klitchkos, Fury & a few others must be strongly favored against him?
And there are tons of second tier big men that given the logistics involved against a top slugger, we do not know how it would do.
Even someone like Lyle from his own era-although there are better sluggers, he was for a time elite...
We cannot with confidence pick Frazier.

 

Hmm you may be right on this. But I still think if Lennox threw the kitchen sink at Joe early it would an early night.

 

I would favour Joe over Wlad everyday and twice on Sundays.
