Too circular! He was certainly circular.lol Ingo was levels above Butterbean ,you might ask could Eric take Ingo's right hand ? Possibly. Could Ingo take Bean's? Probably not. Johansson would back pedal making the fat man chase him whilst sticking out his jab, would Bean ever get into position to unload that power? In a confined space like a bar Bean has a good chance, here in a boxing ring ,not much of one.If he could get Ingo into a16 foot ring ,as Marciano did Cockell, and charge him from the opening bell he might, might, get lucky, but my money would be on the Swede to gradually reduce Bean to a stationary target and have to be rescued by the ref , though I never thought much of Ingo.
I don't get how you can possibly claim Butterbean has a better chin than Ingo. Ingo was stopped by an ATG heavyweight with incredible speed, who KOed lots of top heavyweights. Butterbean was stopped by a professional loser. I don't get how you can give power to Butterbean either. I've never seen him do anything clsoe to as inpressive as Ingo's KO of Machen.
He was fighting club fighters. Ingo was fighting guys like Henry Cooper, Eddie Machen and Floyd Patterson
All jokes aside Ingo would obliterate the novelty act within 2 rounds probably within one. How many of the guys Butterbean fought were actually trying to win? **** all I’d say. It’s a pity Mitchell Rose missed the memo and forgot to not punch the bum back lol. Butterbean could hit hard against out of shape pub bouncers and unemployed actors but against a real world class fighter? Nah not a lick.
It doesn't make any sense. There is absolutely nothing Butterbean did better than Ingo inside the ring. I think people haven't seen a single Butterbean fight. I saw two recently and he looks laughably bad.
I don't think Butterbean was ever knocked down in over 90 fights. Getting stopped by a bum is downright impossible to overlook or forgive, but again, he wasn't knocked out or even down. His hefty 300 lbs of fat certainly seems to help him absorb blows. I don't see how Ingo could be regarded as having the better chin, who we've seen ger KOd twice. Ingo has less than 1/3 of Butterbean's fights which doesn't help either. Ingo KOing Machen had less to do with raw power and more about excellent timing and strategy. He lulled Machen into a false sense of security, then launched a cruise missile of a right hand when he was off guard. Butterbean definitely seems to have a bit more raw power shot for shot and knows how to get his weight into his blows.
Don't forget that Burtterbean went 10 rounds with Larry Holmes and scored a Knock Down against him. He was definitely championship caliber.
I really hope you're being sarcastic but given your agenda against Patterson and by extension Ingo, I sadly doubt it.
