What is the most one sided fight between two evenly matched Prime Greats that you have ever seen?

RJJ vs James Toney stands out for me. I’ve seen much lesser boxers than Toney put up more of a fight against Jones than JT did that night. He lost every round by a big margin in my opinion, except maybe the 10th.

He was in no condition to fight.

And they obviously weren’t evenly matched if if a fight was one sided. But what was perceived? Then Tyson vs Spinks comes to mind

Yes, perceived to be evenly matched on past performances and their perceived talents. But on the night one of them had a bad day at the office for whatever reason.

I came to post this one. I was so excited for that fight and then it was disappointing. Looked like every other Mayweather fight where the other guy can't touch him.

    Hi Buddy.
Hope you don't think I am nit picking, or being too perdantick but, at the time of the fight Foreman was not a ATG, he might well be that now, looking back at his achievements' but when he fought for the title, he was seen by a good body of opinion as nothing more than a big, crude, somewhat awkward fighter, the Peralta contest looked to have exposed him, and going into the fight was seen, by the majority of press and fans alike, as an easy mark for Frazier, the FOTC was still lingering in many pundits memory ( mine included ) and big George was expected to go the way of all Joes opponents .
    stay safe hombre.

It's not how I read the question, but it's a fair reading of it.

Bigger problem is IMO Frazier was clearly not “prime” for their bout.

I would say Duran vs Hearns

I was a huge Duran fan and I remember watching in disbelief how Tommy literally dismatled an ATG in just two rounds...

However, by then Duran was already past his prime and not at his natural LW category. However, he was still a top fighter and years later was going to made an amazing comeback

Those two were never evenly matched despite all of Bob Arum's promotion and brain washing. That's the one fight where I would have bet every cent I had if I could no matter when it happened.
