What advantages did each one have over each other?

I'm struggling to think of anything Joshua did better than Lewis if I'm honest. Only thing comes to mind is he's better at promoting himself. But if were talking about in the ring, yep still drawing a blank.

I was thinking his footwork is better. Maybe left hook?

AJ's bench press is far superior.

Footwork no, Joshua has better balance and quicker feet but his actual movement sucks. Lewis had far better lateral movement. All too often when Joshua punches he stands there to be hit afterwards, while Lewis instinctively circles or pivots off to get off the line and create new angles. Joshua is far too static in comparison. While he's improved in this area a lot it's still one of his biggest flaws and I don't think it's natural to him.

As for their left hooks, both underused shots by both. Maybe but it's not clear if Joshua has a better left hook.

Joshua has the better left hook and uppercut. His infighting is very slightly better. He is also a bit taller despite Lennox sometimes claiming 6'6

Ya I was thinking quicker feet. I remember thinking that in the Ruiz rematch. Also remember that Lewis didn't seem to have such good balance vs Tua throughout the fight.

I think the biggest thing Lewis has over AJ is he's way more coordinated. Just far more fluid.

I was thinking uppercut but Lennox had some really good uppercuts himself

I cannot think of anything in the ring that AJ has over Lewis.

Even out of the ring Lewis has the edge.

Lewis always came across as a chilled guy who liked fighting. Nothing fake about him.

Whilst with AJ you know he is putting on a front for the cameras and not being himself.

    Someones living in lala land

Uppercut goes to Lewis and infighting DEFINITELY goes to Lewis.

Joshua never went into the trenches the way Lewis did against Mercer. Joshuas only displays of infighting are against Takam and Whyte and based off those fights there is no way prime Lewis doesn't f*ck Aj up in the pocket

AJ’s uppercut and athleticism is superior to Lewis even if Lewis is the better fighter.

Joshua does nothing better than Lewis. Maybe the absolute value of his chin is slightly better, but once he gets hit he's a bambi for at least 4 rounds and will barely fire back.

This shows how good Fury is, really. Fury does quite a few things better than Lewis.

Lennox's most famous examples of infighting are getting KOd by Rahman, McCall, barely beating Mercer, etc. I can't even think of an infighting example from Lennox that would be on the level of KOing Whyte in the manner Joshua did.

Lewis didn't exchange on the inside against Rahman and Mercer when getting clipped
Joshua didn't exchange on the inside with Whyte when clipping him. This point doesn't even make much sense either. You're making yourself look foolish than you already do. Btw Mercer would KO Whyte just like 41 year old Povetkin did. He would eat all of Whytes shots and shut his lights out like he did Tommy Morrison. We all saw what Andy Ruiz did to Joshua in the exchanges and then Ruiz went on to struggle exchanging with a 40 year old Chris Arreola. You should hope he doesn't lose to Luis Ortiz as well

The notion that Joshua can fight in close quarters better than Joshua isn't based on anything. I've seen your hate for Lewis in many threads. Joshua could lose to Usyk again, lose to Joyce, lose to Wilder, lose to Wallin, lose to Dubois, and you would still have the audacity to say he's better than Lewis.
