beterbiev catches him and knocks him out... boxing sentimentalists refuse to accept it but they will draw their conclusions when he hits bivol in a few rounds... later i will make a thread talking about how cool it was to hit bivol

Typical pointless fantasy talk. Roid would've never fought him.

This would be one hell of a spectacle.
Pre-Tarver 50/50 RJJ (RJJ's speed during this time was something truly miraculous and I believe he *might* just be able to clinch a points win.)
Post-Tarver 70/30 Berterbiev (RJJ was never the same once his chin had been cracked. His heart was still there but I think his faith was shaken. Artur stops him in the mid to late rounds, probably in emphatic fashion.)

He also reached the quarter-finals of the heavyweight bracket at the 2012 Olympics, Usyk won gold.

Usyk`s punches are short, they only have to travel an inch, and the follow each other really quick, he`s a very good combo puncher.

Did Roy Jones ever look that fast at 220 pounds? I believe RJJ is the fastest I've ever seen p4p. But you tell me. How many fighters you seen that damn fast at 220 pounds?

we keep adding more and more disclaimers to a clear question. The post asked about Prime Roy Jones Jr. Not heavyweight, not 220lbs Jones, not wheel chair Jr.

Prime Roy Jones jr. This isn't even a debate.

RJJ isnt the fastest fighter ever. Camacho was faster. Hell Pacquiao at 126 threw much faster combinations. Ray Leonard at 147 threw faster combos than RJJ ever did.

Damn, we can't stick to the script at all huh? Nobody said he was the fastest ever, just faster than Usyk....I mean unless you think Usyk is the fastest ever?

Gaining 20 plus pounds of muscle then taking it off again will definitely have an affect. It not the same as bulking up and cutting fat

    Jones was different class

Wishful thinking young Juan. He's not getting caught. Prime Roy Jones Jr. was one of the best to ever lace them up. Don't hate, appreciate. You might learn something.

I favor RJJ to beat Beterbiev, but I dont make him a heavy favorite. RJJ was a great fighter and very fast, but not a defensive wizard. Would not surprise me at all if Beterbiev catches him.
