This - how would Benavides respond when Froch takes his best and comes right back at him.

I think DB has the potential to take this one, but the level of comp isn't there yet to see how he fares in deeper waters.

Froch is seasoned in that regard, coming through absolute wars with Pascal and Kessler in particular, with not an inch given up.

What does Benavidez rehydrate to? Froch didn't put much weight on IIRC.

 

This is a question to ask 5 years down the line atleast. Froch all the way at the moment

 

The way Benevidez fights, that's not how you beat Froch. You are not gonna walk Carl Froch down and win, so imposing yourself on him is out of the question. Hell, it's not easy to box him and win. Froch wins a war of attrition and shoot out and the decision

 

Total mismatch and styliscally a very poor match for Benevidez.

I'd heavily back BJS and Smith (prior to Canelo fights) against the overrated Benevidez let alone a prime Froch (who is career has beaten 9 opponents more impressive than Benevidez thus far).
