Every decade, someone should allow Wilder to fight someone who Wilder actually outweighs. If the World Light Heavyweight Champion Beterbiev moves up to heavyweight, like he says he is, Wilder should fight Beterbiev. They were both peers at heavyweight in the amateurs and fought in the same tournaments. I'd like to see that. It's more prestigious. A former heavyweight champion against the reigning world light heavyweight champion. Both KO artists. That's a fight that would be historically relevant. I'd also like to see Wilder-Usyk, regardless of who wins Usyk-Joshua II. I'd also like to see Wilder-Joshua. Wilder vs. a 350-pound multiple-time drug cheat with no rating and reputation for not making it to the ring on fight night, no thanks. Just a wasted training camp for Wilder.
