Hello, for me it would very interesting fight. Jaron Ennis is KO Machine and Radzhab Butaev was never knocked out and always harms his opponents more even though he's losing by points. Example: fight against Stanionis or Besputin. Yes, he lost by the decision but after the fight, he looked like a winner. So this fight would be very interesting and would show if Ennis is really KO machine and if he can KO/TKO Butaev. What do you guys think about this fight? How long is it gonna last? 12 rounds like with Stanionis, Besputin, or Ennis TKO Butaev?
Interesting prediction. I also think Ennis wins this but I'm not sure about a knockdown because nobody ever KO Butaev and after fights he always looks good with not so big damage.
But he was never tested with dirty and strong fighters like Butaev. I bet Butaev can do lots of damage to Ennis too.
I'm not saying he can't but if somebody scores a knockdown it's probably going to be Ennis. Butave can hurt him and has the style needed to give Ennis nightmares but Ennis is molding into a poweful elite boxer puncher and i get a sneaky feeling he'll be a pfp guy soon
I like your matchmaking! Great and entertaining fight. I think Ennis has shown some boxing to develop and stay safe but his true nature is to stand and punch against pressure. What would be most difficult for Ennis in my mind is someone who matches him in size but brings slickness. Someone like Erislandy Lara from years ago.
I wasn't questioning Ennis's heart although his heart is definitely in queston. We know his skills but we don't know his heart, he has never been shook or took to his limits. He has never had to fight from behind or show a plan B or C. Ortiz has the skills to make him answer those questions and have those same questions asked and answered from him. I was actually referring to Josh Taylor who's appetite for 147 has seemed to dwindle.
