First they take your passport and keep you in squalid condition and make you work like slave. Then they take your chocolate starfish and make you squeal like pig.
Companies change there business plans. DAZN are no different in the sense that they realised that when it's competitors are offering fighters the opportunity too make ppv money they couldn't attract those fighters without doing the same. The difference is DAZN will only make ppv fights that can draw. You won't see a ppv for instance like PBC have such as ortiz vs Martin.
Never said that at the launch of DAZN UK. Did say that in 2018 4 while years ago at the launch of DAZN US. Had a big pandemic. DAZN like many other businesses operated for 6-12 months with massive loss of income or growth. Adjusted decided to Pivot realising they could offer PPV in key markets and rights access to all other territories that no other platform can do. In the process they now have key access to Canelo, AJ, GGG etc and have a lock on practically all the current global draws in boxing. you never signed up at £1.99 expecting to never have PPV let’s be honest
Anyone could have told them that. Was just a blatant lie / false advertising when they were giving it the PPV is dead crap.
Up to the Saudis that bought the rights isn't it? No point making it PPV in poor countries when a state broadcaster might want it.
I never expected to pay £1.99 for long being an introductory offer, however, I also never expected such infrequent and poor UK cards for £7.99 per month. Apart from the odd huge fight, I do not have an interest in US Boxing or Women's Football. The huge decline in the frequency and quality of UK based cards in the past year has been very noticeable. If we don't get Joshua fights etc, there does appear no point paying £7.99 per month to watch Dalton Smith and Connor Benn headlining cards. Once Box Office is confirmed on DAZN UK, then one loyal customer gone for good.
Anyone know what the undercard will be? I remember when Povetkin-Hunter was undercard for AJ-Ruiz 2. Quality fight that was.
I am well aware that Saudi has bought the event and decides, but it could be that DAZN, which has entered into a cooperation agreement with AJ, wants the fight to be PPV in most parts of the world ? DAZN has an influence with all the money they have paid to AJ, right?
In the US it was. Go take a look. besides businesses can change their plans. You don’t have to buy the product.
I didnt say they can't change their plans but you know what people thought when subscribing. If you say otherwise you're just a bare face liar. Do you work for DAZN?
May be wrong but I thought he was a DAZN or Matchroom employee on here mainly to sell the product to boxing fans.
