This coming Saturday night at Houston, Texas. This is the third time that Rungvisai has a chance to compete for the World Title at 115. He's 35 years old now while Rodriguez the World Champion is 23 years old. Who wins?
It's in San Antonio. I'll be going to it so make sure to rep ESB at the event. Anyway Bam by UD. Rat King is very strong at 115, but at the same time, he isn't the same man who knocked out Choco years ago. He's been fighting bums to stay sharp and busy, but age will catch up very quickly at these low weights.
Sorry for making a mistake about the venue. Even though I am a Thai, I lean to Rodriguez to beat Rungvisai. He's a lot younger than him but we can't write off Rungvisai since he hits hard and he has a fighting spirit.
You are Thai? Cool to have a member from one of my favorite countries in combat sports. I LOVE Stamp Fairtex!
I know rungvisais not been that active lately but he's still a beast Is this Rodriguez kid that good for people to think that he tops SSR? I've not seen him yet
I'll be rooting for my man SSR but I lean towards bam by decision. I think SSR has slowed down just enough that bam will be able to stick and move his way to a win. Granted bam may get drawn into a firefight and then I could see SSR stopping him. Unfortunately SSRs high impact style makes for a short peak bc of wear on the body. I think Estrada 1 may have been his swan song at the top level. I hope I'm wrong and he's got a pac man like late career coming bc he is my favorite active fighter to watch.
Completely agree with you regarding Rungvisai career & even now i hope he can take himself to another level even with him slowing down, at the same time though Bam could get a stoppage win over him due to his footwork/explosive combinations, I think even if Rung doesn't knock him out and take's the rounds the judges will pull their usual shenanigans and give Bam more of the round's or if it is closer they will still end up rewarding Bam with the decision, (Like Robbing Choc of his win over Estrada), Just a feeling & due to Bam being from the States who is young & seems to lately be more of the talk around Boxing circles especially compared to Rungvisai where even during his Gonzalez victories & following his win over Estrada the public still didn't want to talk or give him his earned respect, nothing new seen it before per usual in Boxing.
Bam said that he'd KO Inoue in one round. Bam hasn't mentioned Inoue's name since he obliterated Nonito.
