But it's an absolute empty insult. Like calling GRJ a speed bully, or Inoue a power bully, or fundora a height bully.

No one has to agree to fight Bam. If they think he's too strong at the weight they can fight someone else instead.

Speaks a little bit about his weight here. Says he's too big for 108 now, that he feels comfortable at 115 and rehydrates a lot of weight, but that he doesn't have a problem making 112, feels good at that weight and might go back down there

He rehydrates 15 pounds. That's some disgraceful Crawfish type weight bullying. Chocolatito would look like his 9 year old nephew next to him.

As long as he makes the weight naturally without cheating then that’s his prerogative.. All the great weight jumpers (Oscar, PAC, Floyd, Canelo) at some point we’re fighting under their natural weight class

 Inoue rehydrates close to if not just as much as that

Said he walks around at 130 (albeit that was a year ago) and that he will probably end up at 130. He also thinks Inoue will too, that he would welcome that fight down the road, and that Inoue's mouth has never tasted wasabi with a kick as spicy as his before

But I just want to take this opportunity to spread some more Loma love

Amazing how you have the likes of Loma coming in at 138-139 at lightweight when you have super flyweights like SSR, Rodriguez and bantamweights like Inoue coming in at 130 or even higher and Loma's fellow lightweights Haney and Commey coming in at 155 and 154 if not higher with 71'' reaches, 5.5'' longer than Loma's

    135 <<< Loma here
    130
    126
    122
    118 <<< Inoue here
    115 <<<Rodriguez here

And even Inoue and Rodriguez have 2'' and 1.5'' reach advantages over Loma too

There's simply no way. Inoue is skinny-shredded. He he has zero bulk on fight night. I think he gains 3-5 pounds max. Check out these pictures of him.

    He weighed 131 against McDonnell

Rocking the mextrosexual Asian boy band look makes anyone look skinny and weak. Murat Gassiev would look like a 120 pound school boy nerd if he rocked that look

Inoue is pretty powerfully built for a leprechaun. Got big legs and calves

I actually researched about Inoue's fight night weights yesterday, reading Japanese articles

See what the esteemed Chairman Kanehira has to say here

Naoya Inoue is "sufficient to win the throne" even in the featherweight division. Still, what are the concerns "class wall" pointed out by experts?

Boxing WBA, IBF bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (28) = Ohashi = has made great strides towards unifying the four world championships.

Inoue defeated IBF class No. 1 Michael Dasmarinas (28) = Philippines = three times in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on June 19, 2021 (Japan time 20th). He succeeded in defending the throne in an overwhelming drama that robs the nominated challenger of three downs and demonstrates his "monster" appearance. In the future, he will make a new start toward his goal of unifying the four world championships.

Chairman Kanehira "Inoue is the best of all the world champions"

Inoue firmly adhered to the two belts of WBA and IBF with contents that made him think that there was no enemy in the bantamweight class. His next goal is to take the WBC and WBO titles and unify the titles of the four world groups. WBC Champion Nonito Donaire (Philippines) and WBO Champion John Riel Casimero (Philippines) will play a unified title match on August 14, so depending on the development, there may be an opportunity to unify the four belts by the end of the year.

If we achieve one goal, the unification of the four groups, we will raise the rank to the super bantamweight and aim for further heights. And the featherweight, which is one level higher, will be in sight. After winning the world title in the light flyweight division, he won a total of three divisions, the super flyweight division and the bantamweight division. How far will the "monsters" in the world, who have won 16 consecutive world battles, evolve in the future? The J-CAST news editorial department spoke with Keiichiro Kanehira (55), chairman of Kyoei Jim.

"At this point, Inoue stands out in all aspects of power, technique, stamina, etc. in the bantamweight class," said Kanehira.

"Inoue is aiming to unify the titles of the four groups, but it has proved to be the number one in the bantamweight division, even if he unifies the titles. This is what boxing officials around the world admit, I In my opinion, I think it's the best bantamweight world champion of all time. "(Chairman Kanehira)
Join the ranks of legendary champions even in super bantamweight?

Mr. Kanehira said that if Inoue's ability at this stage is high, it would not be too difficult to unify multiple titles even if he is raised to the super bantamweight class, which is one rank higher.

Currently, there are three champions (excluding regular and provisional WBA champions) in the super bantamweight division of the four major groups.
Murodjon Akhmadariev (Uzbekistan), a bantamweight gold medalist at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, holds two titles, the WBA (Super Championship) and the IBF. WBC champion Brandon Figueroa (USA) won the title by KOing champion Luis Nery (Mexico) in May. Stephen Fulton (USA) reigns over the WBO.

"Inoue has always been the number one in the class he has won. Considering Inoue's physique, punching power, and speed, the super bantamweight will prove number one through the class as before. I don't think it's that difficult. It's technically a lot of withdrawals, and it's possible to get rid of the opponent's punches with a single shot. Chairman)

Chairman Kanehira "There is a physical disparity with natural featherweight players ..."

If Inoue wins the super bantamweight and achieves some of the goals he has set himself, then he will be able to see the world's fifth-class domination in the featherweight division. Kanehira pointed out, "I think Inoue feels the wall of the class for the first time here," and explained the reason as follows.

"Inoue will be raised from the light flyweight division, so there will be a difference in body size from the natural featherweight division. The featherweight division is the entrance to the light and welterweight divisions, and there has been a strong champion for a long time. I think it is quite possible for Inoue to win the world title in the featherweight division, but in order to become the legendary champion of this division as before, further improvement will be required. "(Chairman Kanehira) )

Chairman Kanehira predicted the outlook, citing more specific details.
"If I raise it to the featherweight class, I think that the speed and technique will be sufficient, but I think there will be cases where the punches that I have been familiar with do not work. What should I do? A different strategy than before. Considering the large number of drawers of Inoue, I think he will surely show a level-up appearance, and when Inoue overcomes the wall of the class, a new view will be visible. Isn't it? "(Chairman Kanehira)

"At first, you can lose more than 10 kg ..." What is the diet and weight loss method that changed the body of the absolute champion Naoya Inoue ??

WBA Super & IBF World Bantamweight Unification Champion Naoya Inoue will play a three-group championship unification match with WBC Class Champion Nonito Donaire (Philippines) at Saitama Super Arena on June 7, showing overwhelming power and two rounds of TKO. I won.

SAVAS was supporting the creation of a "monster" body for the battle of this century. Azusa Murano, a registered dietitian in the Meiji era, has been supporting Inoue's nutritional aspects since 2014. Mr. Murano looks back on those days and says:

"In the light flyweight and super flyweight divisions, weight loss was quite severe, and there were issues in the condition. We really organized the issues from the beginning, including the fact-finding survey of daily meals and how to drink water. I thought. about it. "

"At first, you can lose more than 10 kg ..." What is the diet and weight loss method that changed the body of the absolute champion Naoya Inoue? ?

"In the light flyweight and super flyweight divisions, weight loss was quite severe, and there were issues in the condition. We really organized the issues from the beginning, including the fact-finding survey of daily meals and how to drink water. I thought. about it. "

"At that time, Inoue was aware that he had to change his diet and drink water only when he was losing weight, but he fundamentally changed his way of thinking about diet and hydration. However, I did not change the diet of the entire Inoue family from the beginning, but I was involved in organizing how to arrange and adjust. "

There is a reason why Inoue, who had been winning, began to pay attention to diet and weight loss methods. Mr. Murano, who has supported him by his side, talks about the background.

"Even after reviewing the weight loss method and hydration intake method, it was still impossible to lose more than 10 kg in terms of conditions. After that, after raising the class to the current bantamweight class, I was caught only by weight. I think it was a big change in the idea that nutrition should be strengthened in order to get a stronger body, not too much. "

"Now, I can eat normally until about a month before the game, and even if I practice normally, I can get in good condition. I do not only eat but also provide nutrition after practice. However, we are also thoroughly strengthening nutrition so It will be very good in terms of feelings because we have such a daily base. After the game, we will gain weight temporarily. Sometimes, it's a situation that can be dropped naturally. "

Inoue is also considering raising the rank to super bantam for further heights. Regarding that point, Mr. Murano said, "I think that even if one class is different, there will be a difference in body size, so I think that the attitude will change. I don't think there will be any sudden changes to anything, and I think we will think about what we need to do to accommodate that class and prepare well. "He said that Inoue's strength lies in the fact that he can continue. to manage his ideal physical condition.

It would be interesting to see what these divisions looked like with same day weigh ins.

Five tiny dudes from rural Thailand currently ranked 500-1000 looking at each other like "where'd everyone else go?"

Interesting..in the fight where Rodriguez weighed in at 126, the opponent weighed in at 131. So much for being a weight bully.

I suspect that rehydration weights were used rather than same day weights. Or, they just didn't bother with weighing in since it was an undercard fight deep on a Mexica card and the promoter just figured they'd allow the two to fight if the weight difference wasn't too dramatic.
