johnson was 37 years old weighing a FAT 225lb (his spare tire around his midsection can be send visibly on film) compared to his ripped shredded 192lb look when he won the title in 1908 vs burns

johnson had barely trained and was coming off a long layoff

Yes gibbons had been battered in a title eliminator by Harry Greb. Whom Dempsey chose not to fight.

and of course Harry Wills was waiting in the wings, with two title eliminator victories in 1920 and 1924

It’s his fault that he got old?

Liston arguably has the best 1st round KO in terms of the quality of the opponent. No one else made a prime lineal champion look that bad.

he show good 15 round at pace.
you make irrelevancy statements. if Gibbon was old small fighter & take punch to balls it is not anything against endorsement of Dempsey as 15 round man
