Whitaker in his prime was unreal. A young motivated non-coked up Whitaker wins a UD. His "blemishes" against Ramirez (robbery), Chavez (robbery), ODLH (controversial) all could have or absolutely should have gone his way. Trinidad and Bojorquez were his last fights with hm being inactive and old for both. Whitaker even went up way past his best weight and beat the feared JC Vasquez for a 154 lb strap. Whitakers level of competition is so far above Crawford's when they were the same age its laughable. Even just counting Whitaker's "lesser" opponents he probably has fought better competition than Crawford (Hurtado, Rivera, Pineda, Anthony Baby Jones, Brazier, Pendleton)
Oscar never fought a guy as "skilled" as Crawford? Or did you mean to say never BEAT a guy as "skilled" as TC? Regardless, I respectfully disagree. I think Crawford is immensely talented, one of the very best (and perhaps the very best) in the sport today. But in no way whatsoever am I convinced that he could beat Oscar, Tito, or Sweet Pea, let alone all 3 of them. I like his chances against Chavez, but maybe not so much if Bud gets stuck with the judges Pernell had the night he faced JCC.
Ok, let's talk about oscar. Do you see Crawford struggling with someone like Mosley who lost to Vernon Forest out of everyone?
Exactly. Who is the best Bud has beaten? Oscar, Tito, Pea, Mosley hell even Quartey. Bud hasn't even sniffed that type of talent.

I'm just saying, do you honestly see Crawford struggling against someone like Vernon who lost to lesser fighters compared to Crawford, Spence, and I would even say Porter.
