Wlads age to downplay Fury's victory is a bad argument

    Besides that he reigned for a decade and didnt look way less than a few years prior it also wasnt the reason he lost that boring fight.

    Truth is he utilized his height and hid behind to 1/2 and grab with the ocassional left hook against every opponent but struggled to do so vs Fury due to Fury being taller than him and his constant feinting and moving which distupted his movement and caused him to need to reset every time and never get a rhythym going and work his jab.

    So Fury shut him down and was able to steal rounds with little action and win q ckear decision.
    Wlads age had **** all to do with it. If it was him when ge fought Chagaev, Haye or Pulev he would have lost the same way.

    He needed to adjust, attack more and take some risk but didnt. Why? Maybe he was spooked by Fury? Or it was due to his bad preparation with his personal troubles? Or because he reigned so long he didnt think of adjusting?

    But his age and possible physical decline wasnt a factor in this fight.
    Not in the way that its a solid argument to downplay Fury's win.

    they both should have gotten a loss and five year suspensions for their roles in that "fight". Worst sporting event ever aired.

    Wlad got flummoxed & resorted to headbutting.

    Ignoring him trying to cheat with the ring canvas.

    He's lucky he got 25 year old overly defensive Fury not 32 year old Fury who would have manhandled him. Even 25 year old Fury manhandled him.

    If you're a head-hunter with no inside fighting ability you cannot beat Fury.

    He got the classic outboxed & outfoxed treatment that Usyk is currently laying on AJ...

    Same for AJ. But AJ didn't run scared of any rematch, unlike we all know who!!!

    It's a combination of things. Yes age does play a factor clearly. The Fury fight Vlad hadn't looked stellar and had personal issues coming in.
    With that being said I think Fury's style befuddled Vlad and made him reticent. It was a pretty poor fight with a low output but I was happy that Fury came through victorious. Not sure how a rematch would have gone we will never know but Fury clearly didn't fancy trying to pull the same trick off twice.

    Age is always a factor. It is true though, jab and grab was never going to be effective against Fury.

    Lots of dirty head games by the Fury team before the fight.

    - Cried until the padding was removed from the ring floor.
    - Having Wlad wrap his hands twice.

    And Fury fought a cowardly style, hardly an impressive win over an age 39 opponent. And then there was Fury's positive test for drugs.

    And then ducked the rematch TWICE, wasting many months of the old boxer's time. Fury is a man without honor.

    Most of Furys body of work up until that point was Fury being a brawler and eventually getting into exchanges he shouldn't be in. While Fury had shown some gypsy slickness at that point, Wladimir probably prepared for a much different fight.

    old is old. 39 is old for boxer. if Fury loss at aged 39 we must give him the allowances also. yes it is factor. could be Fury outbox & beat badly Wlad prime type also if we imagine yes it is possible. in prime match Fury could be still much better too good. . It is possible but truth is truth. Fury outbox old Wlad & this is fact factor & must have mention

    Imagine trying to argue that a guy who's almost 40 losing a fight had nothing to do with his age.
    I guess Golovkin's age will have no impact on his fight with Canelo

    40 is a problem when you rely on your physical qualities. Its for Pacquiao vs Ugas for example.
    Wlad didnt lose this fight due to his age but for being shut down by his limited style that was very effective till that point, Fury'smovement and inability/uneillingness to adapt to what was happening.

    If he fought like that 5 years prior vs that Fury he would still have lost

    It was because his skanky wife, Hayden, has been giving him mental problems.
    There is a reason why the old trainers said "sex robs the strength in the boxers legs". What
    the really meant was women are poison and creat mental problems and boxers need to focus on
    their opponent and NOT the size of their wife/GF's boobs.
