What has that got to do with the discussion ? You were comparing Pea to Bud, not Floyd and Manny. Most on here would have both Floyd and Manny ahead of Pea. That has bugger all to do with how Bud stacks up against Pea. Bud is no Floyd or Manny, neither head to head nor by resume.
Whatever " the most physical WW in history" means, Sugar Ray would probably rank Duran ahead of Porter on that metric.
Yet Crawford hasn't fought anyone half as skilled as Pernell. I don't know who would win but I can't really back Crawford until I've seen him fight someone prime and elite. A fight with Spence would be a good start but as is his resume is underwhelming.
Shane beat Oscar...and he lost to Floyd when he was 39...and lost to the much bigger Canelo when he was 41. Throughout the thread you've been doing this kind of cherry-picking of fights to make your comparisons. Try considering context and point of career. Do you suppose Renaldo Snipes would have had an easy time with Ali ? He DID beat Trevor Berbick, the same Berbick who rolled over Ali.
I'm going to catch flak for this, but I think Crawford would beat Whitaker in a fight. Crawford is all wrong for him. Crawford is bigger, taller, longer, arguably just as fast, and a switch hitter. AFAIK, Whitaker never fought a switch-hitter.
Just when I think you couldn't be more out of touch, here you go again! I'd rather be outed as a troll than a genuine imbicile.
What gets me BoxingIQ has still not answered the question who has Crawford beat to be compared to Whittaker?
