And you know nothing about the bantamweight division if you think Inoue is actually the best bantamweight ever.
In all seriousness it really does seem like you have no clue at all about the Bantamweight division if you really think that Inoue is the best at that weight. Guys like Eder Jofre, Fighting Harada, Manuel Ortiz, Terry McGovern, Ruben Olivares, Carlos Zarate, Lionel Rose are considered as the best BW fighters. Olivares and Zarate had that same aura as Inoue where they were monster punchers at that weight and pretty much KO’d almost every fighter they faced. You should probably do some research on the division. There’s been lots of fighters in bantamweight that were just as talented if not more than Inoue. Inoue may well end up being one of the best but we won’t know that until his career is done.
Saldivar, who was a great boxer in his prime, but lost the title, didn't fight for years and came out of retirement to fight Jofre. Jose Legra- Jofre got a robbery vs him to win a FW title and retired before Legra could get a rematch. It's a little tough after that considering those are the only champions Jofre ever beat and one was a robbery while the other hadn't fought in years and was shot. Otherwise Jofre was getting draws with clubfighters ranked near the bottom of the division Hard to imagine either of those guys, given the time he fought Saldivar, going the distance with Donaire.
Inoue can't become a bantamweight all time great unless he makes about a dozen more meaningful title defences. The current division is a wasteland. He can definitely become one pound for pound though, but he isn't there yet.
Yeah, okay, buddy. You obviously are trolling (probably still triggered because over the Inoue/Bam thread) if you think Inoue is not at the upper echelon of all time bantamweights.
Fighting Harada? The guy who went 7-4 in title fights? Is better than Inoue? Lionel Rose, who never achieved a title fight KO, and only won one title fight by UD (all of the 4 others at BW being controversial split and majority decisions)? Olivarez who won three title fights before he was KTFO brutally and won the title again for a few months just to be brutally KOd again? None of these guys deserve to lick Inoue's shoes, much less be compared to him. Take off the rose tinted glasses *Sorry, I realize upon re-reading I sound rude, I will tune it down
Yeah I agree, I just meant that he may well be considered as one of the ATGs in general. His bantamweight run is pretty good but not on the level as other BW greats. He’s one fight away from moving up from BW and becoming undisputed, but for me it’s not enough to be called the best at that weight when you haven’t stuck around too long.
You're just an idiot now. Video VERY CLEARLY showed Bam was bigger than SSR. Get a new prescription. Lasik. Anything.
Again with this nonsense? I thought we were pass that my guy. At this point it seems like you’re getting triggered based on some of your responses on this thread. It’s ok if you’re not educated enough on the bantamweight division but stop acting like your favorite fighter is a boxing God.
