Now that he's retired, do names like Salido, Martinez, Lipinets, Broner, Easter Jr., Zlaticanin, and Vargas punch his ticket?

Does the blatant duck off Lomachenko hurt his changes?

I'm not talking about the HOF in NY where everyone seemingly gets in. I'm talking about in the HOF as boxing fans see it.

Garcia was garbage, all he had was a good right hand.

Are you referring to the International Boxing Hall of Fame? He probably falls short in being considered as being in the ballot. Didn't have enough high profile fights or wins to be HOF material. Had he fought and possibly beat Loma then he would have a much higher chance but he blew it by swerving that fight and facing Spence for higher pay. Very disappointing career overall for Mikey.

Not a chance. His resume is weak.

    Come on, man.

Mikey had excellent boxing fundamentals and a very nice jab.

I think Mikey and Broner are gonna be two of the only 4 division champs that don't make it to the HOF.

He definitely had a potential HOF skill set, but the weight increases took him far away from his most effective weights. Had he gone up no higher than LW and consistently did work there, even being 3 division, I'd say he would've had a better chance.

Did he ever even defend a title once he won it?

Oh don't be surprised that not only Garcia but Broner will also somehow get in at one time or another,

Seems like the HOF is going in that direction where the least amount is needed to get in along with your Name Status instead of actually being great, special & one of a kind with your achievements,

Forgot to add that i just saw Lou Dibella get in there! So i guess there's now hope for us all..............

If GGG has a shot and his resume is absolutely journeyman level then Garcia is a first ballot entry.

I think so, but its borderline imo. Hes a 4 division world champion and Arum had alot to do with why Mikey and Loma never fought. He had great fundamentals and technique, but he did hurt his legacy a bit by moving up for a fight against Spence where he really had no buisness taking. I understand why he took the fight, but there were other fights where he had a better chance of winning that he could have taken. Hes got some good wins but nothing spectacular which is why i think hes a borderline shoe in.
