Is it ok in an international fight to have the home boxer and referee from the same town? Jason Cunningham and Howard Foster are both from my home town of Doncaster.

Why are they trying to sell Hammer as a good opponent? He is going to take a dive or retire in his corner in 4 rounds tops. Hammer even just arrived at the arena and looks like he didn't train at all.

I dont know if it is ok, but I know that it happens quite often in UK and we can see quite bizarre things because of that. The headbuts (elbows and even shoulders) fest in kiko vs warrington comes to my mind, for example.

Yeah I wasn't suggesting it was against any rules if it was it wouldn't happen, but its not OK in my humble opinion and given Howard Foster has come in for a bit of criticism in the past for both scoring and referreing.
